Grieving - Circe X Calypso (💕+💔+✨)
The waves gently brushed against the sand as Calypso sat by the shore, the sand was soft beneath him.
His eyes were closed, he just needed to be alone where it was quiet and where he felt safe, by the ocean.
"Cal?"
Calypso's head jerked around, his eyes shooting open. Circe.
"Ah, I do apologize, darling. I just-" He began.
"You were thinking about her, weren't you?" Circe crossed her arms.
"What on earth are you on a-"
"Alessandra."
At the sound of her name, Calypso froze. Truth be told, he'd never gotten over the loss of Alessandra. He didn't care how long it had been...
Circe sighed,"You can't keep coming out here late at night, hun. You'll catch a cold."
"I'll be fine." Calypso shook his head,"It's not that cold."
"It's in the minus degrees, Calypso. Yes. It is cold." Circe marched over to him.
Calypso didn't put up a fight as Circe threw his jacket on top of him.
"Put it on then come inside." She instructed.
With a sigh, Calypso did as he was told. There was no point in saying no, Circe wouldn't let him stay outside any longer.
"Better, now come on." Circe reached for his hand.
It took him a moment but Calypso took her hand and let her lead him inside.
***********************************
"Talk to me, Cal." Circe sighed, sat beside him.
Calypso had a blanket wrapped around him, had his knees pulled up to his chest and had a cup of hot chocolate in his hands.
"I don't need to talk." He shook his head.
"Calypso." Circe glared at him,"I can't help you if you don't say anything."
Calypso chuckled softly,"What are you, my father?"
Circe grabbed his hot chocolate, sat it down on the coffee table and grabbed both of his hands.
"Acting tough doesn't impress me, Cal. Talk. To. Me."
She could feel his hands starting to shake and so softened her glare. And with that... He broke. Starting to sob.
"There ya go." Circe sighed, rubbing his back.
"Why did she have to go away!?"
"She died to save us, Cal." She looked up at him,"Alessandra would want you to live your life and be happy."
"S-she would?"
"Yes, she would."
Circe released his hands and Calypso rubbed the tears from his eyes.
"Thanks, darling." Calypso smiled softly.
"Doesn't that feel better?" Circe raised a brow.
"Mhm." He nodded,"You're right."
"I'm always right." Circe pointed.
