Jay awoke in... Well, it was strange. They awoke in a dark room. Hadn't she just been asleep in her room? Nevermind... Hang on, was this one of Saturn's games? Or maybe the work of that stupid robot goat?

"Uh... Hi?" A stranger waved.

Their skin was greyish brown and their hair was black and silky, pulled into a plait behind them. Half of their face was covered by their hair, that part having a dyed green section. Their eyes were a dark and dusty green and they wore a grey hoodie, black t-shirt, ripped denim jeans, a green scarf and a green and grey beanie. Jay also noticed that in their hands was... A drawing tablet!

"Hey, uh... What's your name?" Jay asked slowly, brushing a strand of hair our of her face.

"The name's Scorpius, Scorpius Voleno." She held out her hand,"Hang on, you're Jay. We both go to Hope's Peak!"

"We do?" Jay blinked,"I mean, I knew I did but-"

"Relax, I know. You don't come out of your room much." Scorpius smiled softly,"But... I have always wanted to talk with you?"

"About?" Jay raised a brow.

"Just... Stuff." Scorpius shrugged,"I mean, we're both artists. There has to be something to talk about."

"True that." Jay nodded,"Uh... You're mainly digital, right?"

"I am." Scorpius held up her tablet,"Come on, let's talk about the differences of digital and traditional art."

The pair found a spot to sit on their dark space and soon found themselves actually getting along and even talking like friends.

Who would've guessed that Scorpius had two pet snakes? Or how Jay gets excited at the mention of the violin, the instrument she plays?

Jay smiled softly at her new friend and as her eyes opened once more... She was sat in her bed, in Stevie's apartment... Was that all a dream?

"Ah, you're awake!" Stevie smiled as she pushed Jay's door open,"Did you sleep well tonight?"

"I think so." Jay nodded slowly,"Did... Did we go to school with someone named Scorpius?"

Stevie paused,"Scorpius Voleno? Yeah... We did, she was the Ultimate Digital Artist."

"Was? Shit, what happened to her?" Jay rubbed her temples as she tried to remember.

Stevie sighed and sat at the end of Jay's bed,"She killed fake Dimitri. I watched her get executed, Jay... She- She was drawing and when she made a mistake... The pen shocked her and- And the shocks made her make more mistakes and- and-"

Jay put a comforting hand over Stevie's shoulder,"It's... It's okay, you don't need to keep going."

"I-I need to go to Daiko's room.." Stevie quickly got up.

"Huh? Why?" Jay blinked.

"For a hug." Stevie rubbed her arm as she walked out.

Jay sighed and shook her head... The whole killing game... It had an effect on them all. Jay laid back and closed her eyes... Maybe her and Scorpius would talk in her dreams again, that would be nice...
