"Now, just hold still!" Kate lunged at Stevie.

"No!" Stevie jumped out of the way.

In doing so, she jumped right into a shelf, smacking her face against it and falling unconscious. As well as that, she knocked over multiple objects, one of which somehow opened a... Rift in space-time.

"... How the fuck did you manage that!?" Kate yelled at Stevie who gave her no response.

That's when something began to walk through the rift. Kate, wanting to assess this new situation, ducked behind a door as the creature stepped through.

It was a large, dark blue dragon and bright, yellow eyes and a gemstone necklace. Another being with a history with gemstones, perhaps? Interesting.

"Oh my god, what is that?!" The dragon began poking Stevie,"Why does it look like that?"

"That." Kate revealed herself,"Used to be a human, we've been experimenting on her and nineteen others."

"Human... I see." The dragon nodded slowly,"And you are human as well?"

"Eh, kinda, I suppose." Kate shrugged,"These gemstones are really what I am now."

"Have you been trapped in a gemstone for 5000 years?" The dragon cocked his head to the side.

Kate gasped,"How did you know?"

"Oh, me too!" The dragon grinned before gesturing to his necklace,"This is a replica that I had made. See? It has me on it."

"Mine didn't have me on it but it had a heart inside it.* Kate told him,"Anyway, what is your name?"

"Ah, silly me, introductions." The dragon chuckled,"My name is Sysinco, I'm a Nightwing and 'evil', I suppose. I have done some bad things but come on, if they knew what I've been through, they'd understand."

"I see." Kate nodded,"I'm Kate."

"Such a simple name for a not-so-simple person." Sysinco sighed.

"Is... Is that supposed to be a compliment or an insult?" Kate raised a brow.

"Take it how you want." Sysinco shrugged,"Now tell me about you!"

"Well, along with Al, I run this facility. We experimented on twenty humans on this new planet. Two experiments were unsuccessful, the ones where we used plants, and the humans died. Oh well, I suppose, accidents happen." Kate began explaining,"They put me in the brain of one of the experiments through a gemstone necklace so I've been controlling her slightly while also tormenting her friend, that one."

Sysinco picked up Stevie in his talons,"Hm, what's it called?"

"Stevie, her friend that I'm in the mind of is Jay." Kate answered.

"Oh, I have those in my world! An Adeliewing called Stevie and a Rainwing called Jay, how interesting." Sysinco commented.

"Go on then, tell me about you." Kate nodded.

"Well, there are some dragons that get powers but I wasn't that lucky so I was bullied. By the time I did get powers, they were dark magic so everyone hated me and then I was sealed away in this stupid crystal." Sysinco informed her,"Then I was released and caused havoc at Essence Academy, I took control over one and the school blew up and now I have the old students back in my new school and am slowly killing them off."

Kate was silent for a few moments,"Wow."

"Wow indeed, so impressive, I know." Sysinco smirked.

"Exactly what I was going to say." Kate agreed.

"Wanna go grab some coffee?" Sysinco asked her.

"If we have some here, sure." Kate nodded.
