"What on earth is that?" Badgertail blinked at the sky, keeping Marshpaw at her side.

There was a reddish pink hole in the sky... That's not normal.

"Some big... Wibbly wobbly... Timey wimey... Space junk." Falconstar answered.

"With all do respect, darling. Just what does that mean?" Hawkstrike blinked slowly.

"Look, a kit!" Eagleswift gasped as a small kit fell out from the hole in the sky, it closing shortly after.

Luckily, Ebonyrose was able to catch the falling cat in his jaws.

"Hey! Lemme go!" The tom kit demanded.

Ebonyrose gently put him down on the ground in front of him.

"Could you have gone any slower?" He hissed.

Ebonyrose was quiet, soon going to sit beside Elkfur.

"Are you alright, kit? That could've been a bad f-" Falconstar was cut off.

"Hey, I'm not a kit! I'm the best apprentice in Sunclan!"

"What is your name then?" Falconstar lowered her gaze.

"Sunpaw." He announced proudly.

"Can he leave now, I don't like him." Marshpaw shook his head.

"Not like me?" Sunpaw blinked.

Eagleswift sighed,"The hole has disappeared. Maybe you two should... Keep each other busy while we figure something."

"Him? Seriously?" Sunpaw scrunched up his nose.

"Do you really have another option?" Elkfur raised a brow, gently rubbing against Ebonyrose.

"Tch, fine." Sunpaw shook his head.

"So... W-" Marshpaw began.

"Wanna hear about how I'm the best apprentice in Sunclan?" Sunpaw asked him.

"No, not really." Marshpaw shook his head,"Are you always this arrogant?"

"I may be arrogant, but I'm not wrong." Sunpaw rolled his eyes.

Marshpaw adjusted how he was sat, he suddenly felt really uncomfortable with Sunpaw.

"They knw I'd be the best when I was born, so they named me Sunpaw. One day I'll be Sunstar, and we'll rule the island." Sunpaw explained.

"Yeah, right." Marshpaw scoffed.

"What's that supposed to mean? You doubt me?"

"Obviously, you're some weird cat who fell out of a weird hole." Marshpaw hissed,"Ebonyrose should've let you fall."

Sunpaw was taken aback, speechless even,"... What did you say?"

"I'm sure nobody would miss you-"

Sunpaw pounced on top of Marshpaw,"T-take. That. Back!"

"Make me, coward!"

"Coward!?"

Sunpaw unsheathed his claws and slashed at Marshpaw, just missing as he was picked up by the scruff of his neck.

He was tossed to the side, landing with a thud.

"Get away from my apprentice." Badgertail hissed, stepping in front of Marshpaw.

"I could've handled him." Marshpaw mumbled.

"Yeah, right." Sunpaw rolled his eyes,"I was named after the sun, something incredibly important. What were you named after? Some muddy ground?"

Badgertail stepped forward but Marshpaw stopped her.

"Marshpaw, I-"

"I can see through him. He wants attention, a reaction. He's just an immature kit. Ignore him." Marshpaw shook his head.

"Like you did such a good job at that before." Badgertail nudged him.

"Shush, I'm tired." Marshpaw yawned, laying down on the grass.

"Wh- You're just going to sleep?" Sunpaw questioned.

"Yep." Marshpaw nodded, his eyes closing.

"Is he...?"

"Serious?" Badgertail finished,"Oh, yes. Very."

"Badgertail! They found a way to send him home!" Elkfur bounded over,"Look!"

"Get back to the right universe, you." A sparkling, russet she-cat glared at him.

And with that... Poof! They were both gone.

"Huh... Weird." Badgertail shook her head,"Wait, what's weird?"

"Nothing, Badgertail. It wasn't important." Marshpaw assured her.
