Caroline skipped along the path of a road she decided to follow in DreamTale. She had her earbuds in, listening to "Walls could talk" by Halsey. She has been obsessed with Halsey lately, but that's beside the point. She hummed the song, as well and singed it a bit, as walking along the path in DreamTale. She passed a lake, a flower field, and even a few shops on the way to.... Anywhere. She didn't know where she was going. She stopped in realization, and looked around. Where in the world am i? She looked around at the beautiful blossom trees, bushes, flowers, and birds to figure out where she was. "Hm?" Caroline jumped and screeched at the sudden voice. She relaxed when Palette, her best friend, came out behind a tree. Whoa. She hadn't noticed it before now. It was half alive, and half dead. Golden and black apples hung from the tree. She stared at the tree in awe for a moment, before getting snapped back to reality. "Caroline? What are you doing out here?" Palette spoke. "Oh nothing," She shifted, put her hands behind her back, and looked down, "Walking." Palette looked at her, amused, "Did you get lost?" Caroline sighed and looked up at him with her pale blue eyes. "Maybe." "Well, how about you and I go to my house for a while? I'm sure my dad and mom won't mind!" Palette explained. Caroline smiled, "If you say so, Palette."

Palette wined, "YOU ALWAYS WIN CHESS!" "I ALWAYS WIN EVERYTHING! HEHEHE!" Caroline laughed and lay back on Palette's bed. Palette pouted but snapped his fingers and put everything away. "Hey...Caroline?" Caroline's head perked up, "Yeah, Palette?" Palette hugged Caroline, him whispering the words "I love you" to Caroline. Caroline looked at him, "What? I didn't hear that right i don't think...." Caroline gulped, she sure does hope she herd it correctly. Palette sighed, "You herd me right. I love you Caroline, I always have. You are so kind and...and..." Caroline kissed him to shush him. That was all she needed to hear. The words, "I love you, Caroline." "I love you too, Pally" Caroline whispered while snuggling into Palette. "Heh, I love you too." Palette whispered back, stroking Caroline's hair. The two stayed like that for a while, until they fell asleep in each other's arms. 

They truly had gotten lost, lost in love.
