Life hurts

A/N: Hiya guys! This will be sort of a part 2 to the one-shot "Your going to be okay" which I accidently posted in the wrong book, which is my oc book.

TW: Verbal and psychological abuse, swearing, blood, manipulation, mentions of panic attacks, loss of a friend, feelings of loneliness, divorce and dark thoughts.

Third person p.o.v.

It's been a while since mirio found out about the truth of jessi's home. He's offered to help but the girl rejected it, hoping her mother would do something about it.

God could she have been more wrong. Jessi never knew that her mother would have just settled for a divorce, including the custody battle. Violet, her mother, never said anything about the abuse, neither did her older siblings.

Meanwhile her and the younger ones tried, but the court didn't believe them. Jessi had never felt fear like that before, why was she so scared? Because the court gave custody of her, Cypress, Heather and James to their father.

Meanwhile the older siblings, Colette and Brett got to stay with their mother. Jessi remembers how she held back a panic attack until she got home, that's when she broke down.

It took fifteen minutes to calm down. Afterwards jessi had to help her siblings pack, since their dad already has a new place to live. Far away from her friends, away from mirio.

After getting all sorted into her new hell hole, her dad immediately went to changing their lives, what they wore, how they spoke and who they hung out with. Which means she had to cut mirio and the others out of her life.

That was one of her darkest days, his desperate face, the others trying to convince her not to do this, the realisation she won't see eri ever again.

Sometimes mirio got permission from the class 1-a teacher, Aizawa, to let eri go out places. Jessi met eri once when mirio brought her to a nearby park. Despite being so quiet, jessi got along with the little girl.

Now enough of what's happened, let's get into the now. Jessi is currently lying in her bed, feeling lonely and lost. She has no friends, no mother, no other siblings and none of her old life. She was pretty much cut off from her life, family and friends.

Even what's happening with the hero's is cut off from her. Her father, Roderick, didn't want his children to believe in hero's or hearing about them. God forbid one of them wants to be one!

Her claws began to dig into her blanket, her teeth clenched and fur on end. Jessi is so tired of this life, so tired of being a mother to her younger siblings, tired of being lonely. She's tired of everything.

She hissed out loud, forcing her body to relax. Jessi can't allow herself to think those thoughts, she still has cypress, James and Heather to think about. She can't just give them pain, she won't take that.

As she tried to gather her thoughts the bedroom door opened, in came her little sister Heather. Heather was the youngest at 13, also the most quiet.

Heather got their mothers quirk, which was snow leapord. Jessi knew something was wrong, other wise her quiet sister wouldn't be wanting to talk. "Dad called me a... a.... bitch. All because I don't want to dress how he wants me to." Her soft, kind voice spoke. Despite being abused, she was still hesitant on speaking about people behind their backs.

Jessi hugged her younger sister then got up, shut the door and marched towards her so called father. "How dare you call Heather a bitch! She's allowed to be her own person!" The enraged 18 year old hissed.

Know she knew "talking back" to her dad is a horrible idea, but when it came to her siblings commen sense flew out the window. Well her form of commen sense was to keep your mouth shut, unless it was needed.

Her 6'4 dad towered over her 5'8 self, her caracal eyes meeting his. "Oh yeah? Well I'm the dad here, my word is law!" He screeched, which began another bought of abuse from him.

Trying to tear her down, make her feel guilty for everything that has gone wrong in his life, blaming her for violet leaving. After he was finished she marched up to her room, surprised to see Heather sleeping in her bed.

Jessi put the white blanket of her sister then went to check on her two brothers, both asleep in their shared room. As she was walking around, she saw her dad leave for work, he worked as an electrician.

Slamming the door on his way out made her whole body flinch, still scaring the absolute shit out of her. His words ealier came rushing in, were they true? Was she to blame? No she can't be, can't she?

Jessi isn't sure what to believe anymore, so she shakes her head and quietly goes back into her room. She grabbed one of her grey hoodies, slipped it on them walked back downstairs.

She grabbed on her white socks then put on her red sneakers. She knew that her siblings were going to be okay by themselves, their father made sure the house was to crook proof for anyone to get in.

She grabbed the spare keys, quietly unlocked the door, shut it then locked it again. Jessi needs a good walk around the small park near their house. Jessi needs to clear her thoughts, especially her newest ones.

No one was around at 8:00pm, only the occasional dog walked that is. Her breath came out as white puffs, you can thank the Japanese winter for that.

The crickets were chirping, stray cats were running, strange foot steps behind her. Wait footsteps behind her?! She turned around, only to see a near six foot figure with a hood on walking closer to her.

She got her claws out, yet hiding her hand in her pockets. If this person wanted to try anything, they will get clawed to all hell. "Jeez tense aren't ya kid?" The stranger spoke, their voice came out raspy, as if this person smoked for years.

"I'm warning you! Stay away!" She hissed, baring her teeth, even now rasing her hands so the stranger could see them.

"You think I'm scared of a kitty?" The raspy voice asked, the raised a hand, a very burned hand. Blue flames erupted from the very hand, lighting up the area around the two.

Now pure fear pulsed straight to her heart, this is the villain Dabi that every news station keeps talking about. What was he doing all the way out here? And not in the city? Looking for people to burn? People that others won't care about?

No she had others that cared, her younger siblings cared, no loved jessi. She was their world, she's not going to let any villain take her away from them, not without a fight.

"Go on, call for a hero to come rescue you, I dare you" Dabi taunted, taking a huge threatening step towards her. Jessi knew that hero's didn't patrol this late at night, or even around her local town anyway.

All the hero's who lived close by are the smaller ones, looking to make big money from the job. Hero's that didn't care about others lives, the hero's she hated with every fiber of her being.

She went to say something, but she must have been just a little to slow. "Knew it, hero's won't rescue you. They don't care about anybody." His voice seemed to get angrier with that last sentence. His fire also grew bigger, then he placed it on the floor.

Dabi made it so there was a huge ring of fire around the both of them, even a big enough area for him to walk around. To be quite frank dabi would rather be doing anything else other then trying to manipulate a random girl into joining.

He hated being the one selected for this garabdge mission, but yet the rest of the league was to "busy" to do so. His teammate have had an eye of this jessi wheeler for a while now, only because of her quirk.

Her quirk was the only thing interesting about her, nothing else. Well from the spying he found out about her home life. She should count herself lucky, there are others that have had worse lives.

Oh and why is the l.o.v. spying on random people? Well for a future army that's why. Anyone willing to work for them, to die for them. And yet dabi was stuck trying to convince jessi to join.

"Awww now look the poor kitty is trapped." He taunted her again, bringing his hands together and making his eyes go bigger, like someone seeing a cute cat.

"What do you want?" Jessi demanded, not falling for the taunt. She is going to show him she isn't afraid, even though deep down she is horrified.

"Well let's just say my friends want to add another buddy." He smirked while waiting for her reaction. Her attempts to be brave were funny to him, everyone that faced him did this.

His smirk grew bigger as she denied, maybe this kind of job was fun after all.

Meanwhile with mirio:

For the past months mirio was distracted, worried and upset. He still can't understand why jessi would just unfriend him like that. No explanation, not even a hint, nothing.

He had managed to meet up with deku again, per eri's request. As she was talking with the other classmates of deku's, the short green haired boy had asked how his friend was.

Deku was taking all this information in, well all the info mirio gave to him. Not even deku was sure someone like jessi would just up and leave.

"Well where ever she is, I'm sure she's perfectly safe." Deku smiled towards his taller friend who smiled back in response. "Yeah I'm sure she's safe." Mirio said with a small smile then went to see what eri was up to.

Turns out momo had made eri a green and yellow sweater, using her quirk of course. Eri wore it with pride, her now usual smile on her face. Even with everyone happy the third year can't stop worrying about jessi.

Where was she? Was she really okay? Are her siblings okay? God if anything happened to her or her siblings, it would be his fault. As a hero in training, he needs to rescue everyone he can, save the millions. His promise was even in his name, to save the millions. She and her siblings are apart of that promise. He's going to save her, no matter what.
