Broken promise

A/N: Part three! Part two is called "Life hurts" which is a part two to "Your going to be okay" that part I accidentally posted in my oc book. This one will be lengthy aswell! Spoliers! Oh and it will also mention another oc of mine! The silencer!

TW: Verbal and psychological abuse, swearing, blood, loss of a friend, manipulation, panic attacks, anxiety, dark thoughts, crying, betrayal and grief.

Third person p.o.v.

Jessi felt the ring of fire getting hotter, which made her slip off her hoodie and tie it around her waist. Exposing her dark blue t-shirt to the hot air.

Her jeans are making her legs really hot, but she has to ignore it, socks doing the same with her feet.

"To hot for you huh? Maybe I should make it hotter so you accept my deal." His vile mouth spoke as he made good to his promise. The fire got even hotter, now She is worrying about dying of heat stroke.

She shook her head, still not wanting to join that team of psychopaths. The blood thirsty toga, the always confused twice, magical man Mr compress, eyes in the sky silencer, big lizard spinner and the leader shigaraki.

And that leaves the recently M.IA teleportation villain and the very man standing before her. Dabi, the arrogant arsonist, of course she got him out of all the other members.

"Why must you make this difficult?! Ugh your making this job even more annyoing!" Dabi spat, his flames getting hotter whenever his temper grew. Truth is dabi is getting pretty pissed that she won't join, also the other truth is he is putting on bit of an act. To get a reaction out of her, anything so He can use it against her.

Jessi flinched slightly then silently cursed herself for doing that. "Afraid of me? Or my tone?" The burnt villain asked with a sinister smirk on his burnt face. The only thing holding his skin together are staples, well that's what jessi is calling them.

She hissed at him, ignoring how her body is now sweating, alot. She needed a way out immediately or she really is going to die of heat stroke, in the winter. "You know we've been watching you for a bit, so we know only a bit about ya. Care to enlighten me?" Dabi tilted his head asnd chuckled at her shocked expression.

That stupid girl even began to shake, suddenly speechless. His chuckles got louder as a thought struck him. "Since you won't say yes this way, how about I pay your siblings a visit?" As he lowered his flames she reached out toward him and grabbed his coat.

She pulled on it which brought him to the floor, catching him off gaurd. He landed with a thud and she got on top of him, claws aimed for his face. "You can threaten me all you want, but leave them out of this!" Her voice got darker and her tail swished back and forth.

He grabbed her tail with one hand, then pushed her off with one his boots. She landed on her butt then pulled by the collar of her shirt.

"Well since you love them sooo much, why not join us to keep them safe? Well learn how keep them safe." Dabi offered but with a twist. He cocked his head to the right a bit, looking into her Amber eyes with his bright blue eyes.

"No hero is going to notice anyway." He added with a silent proud smirk. She closed her mouth and seemed to think for a bit. Dabi could have sworn he saw her mind battle againts herself, as she kept opening snd closer her mouth, ears twitching.

She clenched her fists, looked down towords the ground and uttered her final answer. "As long as you all promise to keep them safe." She hissed quietly. Dabi let out a small pleased chuckle as he let her go. He looked down at her, noticing there's still a twinge of guilt in her body language.

"You get back to your house now, but meet here tommorow at this exact time. Don't be late." He added with a warning tone then put all of the fire out.

He began his journey back to base, finally bringing them some good news for once.

Meanwhile with mirio:

The poor boy has been asking everywhere and everyone about his dear friend jessi. The answer was always no, no, no, no! He was beginning to hate that word now.

Even on his walks with eri he asked anyone, always the same disappointment. But he won't give up, never on jessi. The blond 18 year old is now also questioning if he loves her more then a friend or just as a friend.

Mirio dosn't have time to be confused about that, he needs to find her fast. Eri tugged on his arm and asked "Are you okay?" Her tiny voice spoke, worried about her saviour.

He nodded yes and gave his best smile. She smiled in response and they continued on the walk back to U.A grounds. Aizawa greeted the two of them at the gates and walked back towards the class 1-A dorms.

Mirio waved his goodbyes and walked towards his own dorms. His mind still running like an enraged beehive. With his studies and hero in training work he's put all the worries away, but other then that mirio can't stop worrying.

His other friends have noticed and try to help him, but mirio can't stop his mind from over thinking the situation. Should he just accept that she's no longer in his life? No there is a villain in her life that must be destroying it. From today on, he is going to try harder to save her.

The next night with jessi:

She had managed to sneak out again, exhausted from last night's meeting with dabi. Now she was meeting with him again and his leader shigaraki.

The famous killer stood before her, white hands and all. His hair has grown longer then when he was last on the news. He tilted his head, getting a good look at her, curious if dabi has picked the right person for this job.

"She even got really testy when I threanted her siblings." Dabi was explaining, in a forced non lazy voice. The two villains looked at her, debating if she would be a good pick after all.

Shigaraki has already asked whether or not she knows how to fight, which dabi had replied with no. The famous killer didn't enjoy the fact that one of them would have to train her, but if she really is that dedicated to protecting her siblings, oh and believed in their cause, she can join.

He scoffed then turned around and said "Silencer can train you, only if you say that you agree with what we are doing." He spoke, also having a tone that said "don't waste my time."

"Of course I agree! Those hero's who do it for popularity don't deserve that job." Jessi nodded her head, while making it sound as believable as possible. She has never agreed with killing, even if they were trashy human beings.

Jessi needs them, as much as she hates to admit it. She needs to learn how to protect james, cypress and Heather. Heros won't do that job, so all she has left are the crazies.

Shigaraki nodded, still with his back turned. He whispered into what she guessed was an ear piece, moments later a 5'9 woman was standing there.

Silencer, the eyes in the sky. The anti-hero turned super villain. Her harpy Eagle quirk allowed her to fly like one and see like one. It also have her the ability to be super agile and she could make her nails as sharp as harpy Eagle talons.

She wore a white shirt with a grey sword on it, a belt with places for weapons to go, long, neat grey pants and a very dark grey coat. Her shoes were pure black sneakers, her mask covered her face so much only the upper half of it can be seen.

Her black gloves hung onto her hands nicely, her hoodie covered her ginger hair. The woman's sharp vibrant green eyes were staring into jessi's with an unknown expression.

"Wow another mutant based quirk member, finally." Her deeper yet somewhat motherly voice spoke, her eyes still locked into jessi's. Jessi felt like breaking eye contact with her would be rude, so she kept looking back.

"Okay newbie your first lesson starts now." Silencer spoke and got onto the ground and swept jessi of her feet. Okay so when this woman means now She means it!

Jessi didn't get up quick enough as silencer pulled her up by the collar of her shirt, then threw her back to the ground. Is the woman not going to explain what to do? Apparently not!

Poor jessi was getting thrown around like a ragdoll, punched, kicked and thrown. Her leader had left but dabi stayed behind, only to see if training jessi is worth it.

Silencer kept dealing blow after blow, until jessi actually attempted a block. "Now your getting it." The older woman said, seeing something click within jessi.

The villain, Angelina, silencer, ex grey knight. She had many names, but she preferred silencer, plus it was her new identity. That's who she was now, one of the only people who helped her be who she is Mr compress.

From what little details the league has of her, jessi has no one to help her, well until now. The arrogant prick dabi always commented how Angie seemed to take some members under wing. So what if she did? That dosn't make her less of a fucking villain, dabi.

After twenty minutes of training Angie stopped, told her to go home and spoke to her leader. Soon after the two were teleported back to base, via the gross sludge that came from that one nomu.

"So how did it go?" Toga asked as she saw them walk past. It always seemed toga waited for them to come back, as if toga was worried they wouldn't. The short blood thirsty girl called Angie big sis Angie.

Of course Angelina didn't mind that, since toga thinks of the league as a family. Angie thinks of the league in the same way, a family no one understood. A family society failed to accept, a family that deserves love.

"Went well toga, she might actually be a quick learner." Angie smiled underneath her mask and waved at Mr compress as he walked towards the two.

His charming attitude, his corny jokes, his ability to care and the fact he's also very respectable. He always respected her when she put up her boundaries. In return she always respected his, such as relationships should go.

"Everything is going according to plan"

Two months later:

The final week for the first years before they became second years, also the final week for the third years to be third years. Mirio had gotten closer to finding jessi, only because he had ran into one of her older siblings on a walk.

The older sibling was quick to say that he dosn't really care when she went, but gave him the address anyway.

Once again got permission from his teacher to leave for a few hours, to make sure jessi is okay. After a few hours he finally got there, now time to see jessi.

He knocked, hoping that he wasn't to late. It was beginning to get dark out, exactly 7:00pm. He heard a young voice shout "coming!" As rapid footsteps approached the door. The door opened and there stood her youngest sister Heather.

""Here I'll talk for you Heather." Another young voice spoke, with a slight rasp to it. Out popped Cypress and he ushered Heather out of the way.

"Didn't jessi unfriend you?" Cypress asked bluntly, with a slight bit of confusion. Mirio nodded then went on to explain why he was there. Well not the whole story, he left out the part of when jessi told him how her dad effected her.

"Your lucky dad is at work right now, come on in." Cypress added on with a slight smile. Mirio knew why the teen had said that, their dad was never to keep about hero's. Cypress pointed towards jessi's room and walked towards Heather and muttered something.

Mirio guessed it was something about getting ready for bed, since Heather was already in pajamas. He took a huge breath and began his way up the stairs. He made it up and walked straight, where her room was. James poked his head out of the corner and whispered.

"Psst hey hero dude. My sister made it quite clear she dosn't want to see you." He whispered protectivly. Right as mirio opened his mouth jessi opened her door and walked out.

The tension was so thick you could slice it open with a knife. The two stared at each other for a while, taking in each other's presence.

Mirio then noticed the bandages on her legs, arms and face. He prayed that those weren't from her dad. "What are you doing here?!' Jessi spat with venom. Surely she would have been really happy to see him, right? Or was this to extreme? Should he have stayed home?

But she needed saving, her dad was a villain. "I'll just be in my room, getting to bed." James spoke awkwardly then shuffled to his door and shut it quickly. Jessi crossed her arms and glared at him with hatred. But he could have sworn he saw happiness in her eyes.

Jessi can't believe her ex friend is here, worried about her. Why does he have to be so fucking caring?! Why couldn't he just leave her the fuck alone?!

Why can't he get the message she forcing herself to send. She wants him here, she wants to jump into his arms. But jessi can't risk getting attached again, she can't deal with that pain.

The desire to hug him, embrace him, thank him for never giving up was getting harder to ignore with every second that passed by. On the other hand, she needs to meet with silencer for more training.

"When everyone is in bed I want you to leave." Jessi grumbled as she shoved past him. She didn't dare look back at him, she knew his face would be hurt and confused. She walked down the staircase and began to make sure everyone was in bed.

When she saw none of them downstairs, she guessed cypress and Heather were already in their rooms. Mirio must have used his quirk to permeate through the floor since he was suddenly behind her when she turned.

She didn't know if it was from the training or just being around people that hated heros, all she knew that she had to defend herself. She got into the stance silencer had been teaching her, even bared her teeth.

"I'm not going to hurt you." Mirio reassured her, which made her body relax. He put his two hands up then back down at his sides, his face even more worried then it was before.

"Are you okay?" He asked with genuine care. Jessi can't answer, since that would begin to let him in again. Can't he understand that?! Why can't he get it into his thick skull that she didn't need him anymore?!

But a side of her did need him, desprelty needed him. But she is to scared of loosing him again, so she must push him away for good. Plus she can't be late for her training. She pushed him away and ran out the door and slammed it.

She ran for the park as quick as possible, ignoring mirio's desperate cries. He tried to permeate through the floor, to try to stop her in her tracks, but yet something about her whole demeanor told him to let her run.

No, she needs rescuing, her dad has mad her like this, but he isn't to late. He prays that he isn't to late to save his best friend. He soon chose to run after her, calling out to her.

Pleading for her to stop, talk things out and let him help her. He promises that he would save her this time, even Heather, cypress and James. Save all of them.

She stopped as she got into a very abandoned place of the park, where no wondering eyes could see her betray Japan. Betray how? By joining the villains so willing to bring it to it's knees.

She heard mirio stop in his tracks as well, but kept his distance. "I don't want you in my life anymore." She hissed at him, still refusing to look at hi. She crossed her arms and let her building tears flow.

"Why can't you see not everyone wants to be fucking saved?!" She hissed again, louder this time and with more aggression. Jessi couldn't stand to see him right now, she can't stand him being there right now.

Maybe she has to say something so hurtful he will never come back. Yet that might make her feel worse about it in the future. She felt her body enter a panic attack, it felt like it's going to be a huge one.

"Just leave me alone!" She roared as she spun around, panicked breaths quickening and chest feeling numb. She coughed as her tears kept coming, her tail and body shaking. "I don't want a stupid hero's help!" Those words escaped jessi's mouth before she could stop herself.

Her hands went into her hair as her panic attack got worse. Jessi was making it worse by trying to push him away, yet that's what she wanted, wasn't it? Fuck why can't she be sure right now?!

If she pushes him away now, the thought of him never trying to rescue her again is killing her. Yet she is also being killed by him just being in front of her.

"Oh you didn't tell me you knew lemillion." Silencers voice spoke from behind suddenly. Jessi saw mirio rush foward to grab her and shove her away from the villain.

Mirio's p.o.v.

I don't blame her for being anrgy at me, I should have saved her sooner. Shock surged throughout my body as a villain appeared right behind jessi. I grabbed her and shove her behind me, staring the villain right in her evil green eyes.

"No need for a fight future hero, just here to train my little apprentice here." Silencer spoke a sentence that chilled me to the very core. Jessi would never join the league! I know her to well!

But yet, could their manipulation be why my friend is acting like this? Yes that must be the answer. "Stay away from my friend!" I shouted, preparing my body for a fight. Yet for some reason the villain began to laugh at me.

"Wow you really are dense aren't ya? She willing signed up for this!" Silencer chuckled am evil chuckle as she raised her hands in the air, like it was obvious. No this villain had to be lying! She had to be. No friend of mine would ever join the league, never!

Third person p.o.v.

Jessi forced her body to become calm enough to speak to mirio. "It's true mirio... I work with them now." She spoke through her sobs as guilt hit her like a truck. What made it worse was his destroyed face.

Man if expressions could kill, they would be doing her a huge favor right now. Why did she ever let him find out?! Wait no she didnt, silencer is early this time.

If he had kept his stupid self out of her life he wouldn't be here right now. "This has to be some sick joke right?! Please tell me it is!" His whole body was facing her now, tears spilling from his blue eyes.

All jessi could do was shake her head as she kept crying, trying to stay on two feet. "Why did you do it?! Don't you realize the danger you are putting your siblings in?!" He added onto his ever growing list of questions. Jessi went to open her mouth but the words didn't come out.

That's when silencer chimed in, reclaiming everything she knew. Jessi could just feel the sick smirk on siliencers face, under the mask. As the two argued she seemed to slip into her own little world, one where her life wasn't shit. A life where she could be happy.

"Jessi! What happens to us? Your my enemy now." Mirio added, sort of answering his own question. She snapped out of her thoughts and went to answer. "I guess we are mirio. I guess we are." Her voice went ice cold, as if her tears had turned her boys to ice.

She ignored her tears, ignored the oncoming panic attack. She made herself look up at her now enemy, Lemillion, the future pro hero. Jessi the now villain in training. She watched him begin to leave, absolutely defeated.

"Nicely done there jessi." Silencer congratulated her with villainous joy. Now jessi has made up her mind, she dosn't need mirio, she dosn't need any stupid pro heros, all she needs is her new family.

The family she always needed, the family that will lover to the day she dies. Villain jessi has a nice ring to it. Plus her siblings had strong villains to protect them now, who wouldn't want that?

Jessi is never going to regret this choice, never there that one fateful night. Regrets are behind her now, as of tonight regrets are now longer apart of jessi. No more sweet, scared, innocent and shy jessi. The new jessi is going to love everything she does, I mean everything.
