For the musical era: he was the daughter of an extremely rich British higher up, that was grooming him to be sold off to the highest bidder, though allowed him to practice writing, which he grew a love for. When he heard about America(pre revolutionary war) he  ended up cutting his Hair and jumping on a boat to the new world after buying himself a new outfit, taking a quill and forearm protectors/concealed knives from his home, surfacing and joining Lafayette's crew a few months before Alexander came to America(Lafayette, Lauren, and Hercules don't know he's trans yet)

Modern Au: he was the child of a rich family in England, he decided to strike out on his own so he wouldn't be forever put in his Father's shadow, so he changed his looks, switched genders and fled to America.

Family: Dad(alive, probably won't come into the rp), mother(dead, dyed giving birth to him), and older brother(alive, might come in)

Personality: he's extremely smart, and like Alexander he is wise with his words, he commonly works hard labor jobs when he's not writing regardless of the time period. He is in a way like Burr: he thinks first a lot, but he can be just as brash as his friends and can sometimes be quick to anger. He can easily slip into Depression, but usually can hide it extremely well. He rarely talks of his past regardless of the time period, and anything he says suggests that he was extremely quiet when he was younger, and only started to speak his mind when he came to America.
