Personality: Jax is as you would expect from a royal guard, loyal and to the point. His ward is his world (in more ways than one at times) and he is willing to put life and limb on the line to keep both the people he is under order to protect safe, but also those he loves. He does have quite the temper if pushed too far; and do not take kindness for weakness.

Likes and Dislikes: Jax is at peace whether he is swinging a sword, or reading a book. Most of his likes tend to stay around combat related things, weapons and the taking care of them. Though he does enjoy reading if nobody is around. He very much dislikes if his ward runs off without him; as it's his job to protect them. Along with being betrayed or lied to, as he's had past experience with all these things

Backstory: As a boy, Jax never had much and he didn't care to; he'd grown up on a small farm with his mom and dad and he was happy with that life. Though eventually as he grew he'd taken an interest in knights, soldiers and so on. And when he was old enough to he decided to head into the kingdom and try to make his way in the world; and help his parents out with coin. He'd competed in some swordsmanship competitions, and gotten in bar fights before he was brought before the head of the royal guard. Although he hadn't done it in the most...traditional way, he'd made an impression enough to be offered a shot; which he took. After several grueling weeks and months of training; he'd become a royal guard to the kingdom, top of his training group and awaiting special instruction; going to be attached to some sort of royal.
