Sirius's [POV]

The season had changed to fall pretty quick, it was a little chilly, but not enough to want to stay home next to a fire place. It was more of a warm day with a cold breeze, then anything else. I loved the colors around this time of year, it was perfect for walks, along with a nice little picnic in the woods.

Speaking of things to do in the fall, Kuro and I had decided to go on a camping trip! It was only gonna last a day or two, but we never got much time to spend together, so even a little time to ourselves was nice. Virgil and Luke wanted to tag along, I couldn't say no, so Kuro did. Of course I felt bad about it, but I realized we need to set boundaries more often, or then it would just be a continuous cycle of yes.

I heard the door click behind me, I turn around to see Kuro. "The color blue does suit him well" I thought to myself. He had his hair clipped back with a red hair pin, it really made his navy blue hair stand out more. I was already prepared for a few hours now, we were just packing our things for it. We both had a bag each, with everything we needed, along with a tent.

The tent we got was one of those that you see on tv, water proof, keeps you warm, etc. It had a enough room for three people, so we got it for that extra space. Kuro was fairly tall, about 6'1 or 6'2, some where between there. While I was 5'7, I didn't need much room, unlike him of course.

I got up from the bed after he informed me about him finishing putting the bags in his car. Kuro had a lot more money then I did, he had anything he could really want. I just lived in a little apartment above a restaurant I owned, I barely got by to be completely honest. All that mattered was that I was alive and healthy.

We walked down stairs to the entrance door, it wasn't a very far walk. My apartment only had three rooms with a hallway connecting them. A small kitchen to the left of my bedroom, and a small bathroom to the right. We made it outside by the time that snapped out of my thoughts, Kuro was staring at me with his brown reddish eyes, the color always seem beautiful to me, it reminded me of my childhood a lot more then it should have, I laughed at the dumb thought. Kuro in response gave me a wonky smile.

We never really had to talk, the silence between us could talk thousands before we even opened our mouths. I had gotten in the car after his wonky smile, he had as well. Off we went to the camping site, which was a little spot in the woods. It was surrounded by trees with a pond nearby, well at least that's what the photos shown to us looked like. I heard it was full of bunnies and some foxes. I've always had a love for nature, the water was calming, and the flowers made the experience nicer. I may be allergic to pollen, but a few sneezes wouldn't hurt me. 

By the time I finished imagining how the forest would look like, we had arrived to the parking area. It was near a beach, so finding a parking spot wasn't too hard. We grabbed our bags, then were on our little way. There was a path to the spot, so getting there would easy.

Once we arrived, it was better then I could imagine. It smelt of pine with a hit of an ocean breeze, it was such a quite place as well. We starting setting up our tent, after placing our bags down near a tree. I helped him snapping together the poles, while he helped me put the fabric over them. We relocated our bag to the inside of the tent, we sent down the sleeping bags, then went to explore the outside a bit more.

We left the tent, and went to go search for the pond I was telling him about earlier. Of course after wandering for a little while we'd find it. It was near a huge willow tree, which I think it gave it that nice cottage core aesthetic. We sat at the roots of the tree, Kuro decided to take a nap. I decided to take out my journal, I drew a quick sketch of the area I began to love. I jotted down a few notes, such as, the atmosphere, the feelings, and a few details I noticed.

I put my journal away, deciding to color and line the sketch later on, so I could enjoy this peaceful moment with Kuro. It eventually lead to me falling asleep, but I didn't mind. We later woke up, the sun was setting. In all honesty it made the scenery look radiant, it made me wanna doze off again.

Just as I was about to, Kuro had nudged me awake once again. He helped me up, so then we walked back to the campsite. In time as well, the rain had just started coming down. It was a light shower, but as soon as we came into the tent, it started coming down a lot more violent then we originally thought.

We took the time to get ready for bed, brushing our teeth, changing our clothes, etc. By the time we had finished, I was just about to pass out. Kuro seemed more relaxed then I was earlier, then again, it might be the rain calming him down. I sat next to him, he seemed shocked for a moment, but soon accepted it.

Just then, the rain seem to get drowned out by my own thoughts, maybe dreams? Today was just such a nice day, even if it started raining. I think it made it just a bit better, those were my last thoughts before I dozed off for the night, just Kuro, my thoughts, and I.
