Story behind the nightmare side: the nightmare side of Artemis is the most evil and darkest side of her and it's uncontrollable and kinda unstable,  she got it from the evil side of her dad

Backstory: she is the youngest Garmadon sibling and she was left on the streets as a child and a woman named Shania or big mama , she took her in as a 10 year old and she raised her for a year until Lloyd,  her brother found her and he took her on his evil escapade but at the same time took care of her as a big brother should and that was until the ninja found her  and Lloyd,  and she discovered at the age of 11 she had a evil side and it broke her heart when witch doctor named Zacara , told her and her uncle that she had a nightmare half and it could take over her body at any point and so she had special training to help it and the rest is history
