Rosemary doesn't go by Anna anymore, unlike her younger siblings. Chip, although he normaly goes by his newsie assigned name, still gets called Daniel often. Edith, her sister, doesn't even have a newsie name because of how attatched to her birth name. Rose is quite the opposite. Although she remembers when she was called Anna, that just makes Rose sad. She quite liked being called Anna, she loved how smoothly it rolled of her families toungues, but nowadays it just makes her sad to think about her deceased relatives. She thinks her siblings only use their real names because they don't have the same emotions linked to their names. She would never dare say that aloud though, nobody can know her jelousy of 10 year olds, thats something not even Mush could know.
Mush is her boyfriend and they tell eachother almost everything. He knows about the sadness attatched to her former name, but Rose doesn't think he would be able to take her seriously after telling him she is jelous of the lack of memories her siblings have of their parents. She also doesn't want him to tell the rest of the 'Hatten newsies, because that would be embarrassing, or even worse word could get back to her siblings and they could hate her.
