Ok so Gifteds are basically magical people who can do stuff without wands or words, they rely on nature or energy around them to do magic, like healing, creating and being able to control the elements (Fire, water, air, earth, etc).

Gifted Originals are (bravo if you guessed it) the first Gifted to walk the earth, going back as far as 15 thousand years. They rely on blood once a month from the opposite gender, they're immortal - they stop aging at 21 - and ridiculously OP. They have wings (either black or white, with personal markings) and they can shape-shift into tigers (each their own markings to differentiate). Also they can't die...like ever (hence being ridiculously OP), but they have the ability to go into an eternal slumber for periods of time, either of their own free will (gets bored of life, depressed, lonely, etc) or get forced into one via powerful wizard spells, ignoring their blood cravings for more than six months or via a special invention made by the Gifted world's Dark Lord, Felix.

Right there are 4 Original families: (ranked by most powerful and oldest)
Valentine
Mystique
De Silva
Diego (SPOILER: The Gifted Dark Lord is from this family)

The first to first two families mentioned above, Valentine being the oldest - 15 thousand years - and Mystique the second oldest family dating back about 10 thousand years, are the oldest and originally comes from Romania, also I'm inventing a new? language; Ancient Romanian (A/N: Remember that juicy piece of info for later readers.) for them. The De Silva and Diego families don't even come close to them, dating back only 5 thousand years back.

Most average Gifteds are descendants from the De Silva and Diego lines, as the first Valentines only have 6 children, with only 1 grandchild and no further descendants as of yet, while the first Mystique male (Lord Raymond Mystique) only has two sons and had *cough* has *cough* one daughter who unfortunately "died" *cough* disappeared through time*cough* during the Gifted War 15 years after she was born. Also Lord Mystique disappeared for about 2000 years because he and his darling Flame/Soulmate went into an eternal slumber shortly after the attack on them and their daughter, Lady Mystique was forced into one and Lord Mystique just up and left his duties for his sons to take care of while he left and grieved.

Also there are the generic Gifted Originals and then there are Elemental Gifted Originals.

Elementals are better in a certain element, also they are royalty. Currently there are only 3 Elementals:
The Sun King
The Night King/ King of Darkness
The Moon Queen

They aren't necessarily the oldest Originals, but are born as the most powerful ones to maintain balance to the Gifted world. Also Elementals' eyes change when feeling strong emotions like anger and love. For Example from green to golden yellow (Sun King).

Right what's also special about all Originals in general is that they have eternal soulmates or 'Flames' as they call it. Their Flame can be muggle, witch/wizard or another Gifted (Original or not). When they find their Flame (be it immediately after they turn 16 or a thousand years later) they will mark them on their left shoulder and once bonded (in all ways 😉) they will also become immortal. Also only the first and second generation of children from the Original line will be born with immortality, otherwise all Gifteds would be immortal and that is just to many OP beings for one world, thankyouverymuch.

Also, for the sake of my story, there will be creature inheritances (at 16) in the wizarding world. Also also about 3000 years ago (during the founding of Hogwarts) the Gifted Accords were formed between wizards and Gifteds, kind of like a peace treaty. One of the main rules were that if a wizard/witch causes harm to a Gifted it will be seen as a declaration of war, that does include sending Originals into an eternal slumber.

If there are any other information that comes up I will make another 'background information' chapter. That's all for now. I'll make a character page soon.

Might have forgotten to add more details on blood cravings:

Blood cravings comes once a month and the Original who is suffering from said blood craving can only drink from the OPPOSITE gender, be it be muggle, witch/wizard or Gifted.

Also, this does not make them vampires, they have heartbeats, they don't sparkle/die in the sun, they can procreate like normal parents do and they still need normal food and water to live.

With muggle blood, they need HUGE amounts of blood to satisfy their cravings, thus not many go for muggle blood.

With witch/wizard blood, the need for large amounts of blood decreases slightly and are prefer by those who live in the Wizarding World (Rosella mostly).

With Gifted blood they don't need to drink a lot, even less with another Original.

Right, obviously Gifted or other Gifted Original blood is more fulfilling than muggle or wizard/witch blood. The blood of their 'Flame' even more so and then they don't need to feed as often when feeding from their 'Flame'.

Now another thing I forgot to mention is that Resurrections suck and drains them physically and emotionally. The most common signs of a recently resurrected Original is: Uncontrolable shaking, usually more focused in their hands, the look of not getting any sleep for weeks and the tell-tale signs of another blood craving seen from their wrists (veins sticking out).

For example:

A male Gifted Original gets killed by someone, via idk, bullet to the heart. Depending on how many time he has died in that specific way, the resurrection can take up to 8 hours or 3 seconds to complete, during that time the effects (pain mostly) are slowly reversed, which is extremely painful and can feel like an eternity for him. Then, once brought back from the dead, he will feel rage and hatred towards his killer and will (9.5/10 times) try to kill that person. So, it's advised to get away, as far as possible, from the Original IMMEDIATELY when he/she dies as their emotions are heightened to the extreme and they act on their emotions immediately after they come back to life. That is why Resurrections are so emotionally draining to them. As soon as the emotional adrenaline fades, they will be exhausted and will need to feed and rest immediately or the fatigue and uncontrollable shaking will not fade.
