Amarus has a large pair of grey wings, similar to how a pigeons look. 

Personality 
Amarus can be quite charming, he has an infectious smile and somehow is able to get along with most people. However he always seems to be holding something back, trying to get close to him is like trying to break through a wall and although he may seem friendly he almost never talks about himself, nor allows himself to get close to people. Behind his smile there is a darkness swirling inside of Amarus, he is cold and seemingly unfeeling, he has never had trouble taking life and he can become violent when faced with other Angel's. He finds it hard to find joy in anything, and has little direction left in his life, Amarus lost everything and doesn't know how to really go about living, the only thing he has ever known how to do is follow orders and kill so being 'free' in a sense is terrifying. 
Amarus has never really had a close friend outside of his family, and at this point he isn't really sure how to connect with people nor is he willing.

History 
Amarus was once an important warrior from the kingdom in the clouds, he was often sent off when things needed to get done and had never asked questions. Although he wasn't the only one who did this job he was the one specifically called when the firm hand of gods was needed to strike against mortals. He was the definition of the fear of god and for a long time this was all he was, he had no life outside of his job and he lived to please those above him. 
However this all came to an end when he met a woman, she was a simple human woman whose father he had come to punish, the girls pleas moved him and so he decided to let her try and convince him to let her father live. 
This lead to them spending a lot of time together, to Amarus coming down to earth more and more until he started neglecting his duties to spend time with her. 

When world got back that he had failed and let the human man live, someone else was sent to finish the job and when they did again the girl tried to stop them only to die in the crossfire. When Amarus found out he was furious, everything turned red and he lashed out at the other angle killing them. His actions cast him from his home and put a bounty on his head, for years other angels were sent to kill him only for them to also turn up dead. After a while they stopped being sent, leaving him to wonder the earth, alone, and fallen with a hatred for his old life and everyone in it.
