Beckett has the attention span of a butterfly. He's always jumping from one thought to another without much transition. He always has a hundred things going on in his head all at once and he finds it hard to make room for all of them. Although that doesn't stop him from trying. 
He's a rather positive person with a possible case of ADHD although he has never been diagnosed so it's all up in the air. 

Dancing is his life and he's happiest when doing so. Mostly ballet but he has learned other styles, but ballet is his favorite. He likes all the jumping, the spinning, and the flipping. Beckett is always full of energy and likes going on random spontaneous adventures. Mostly to large open outdoor spaces where he can prance around and dance to his heart's content. 
Beckett's jumpy, jittering attitude has a few people concerned. Some think he might even be a little mad. But he doesn't mind much. He likes the idea of being a little crazy, although that might have to do with his unhealthy obsession with Alice in Wonderland. 
His favorite character is the mad hatter and every Halloween he dresses as him and tries to convince his best friend to go along as Alice. Sometimes she says yes. 

Even though Beckett is full of energy and a regular chatterbox you will never find him talking about himself. Whether by accident or not he always changes the subject when the conversation vers a little too close to home. 
Beckett is incredibly private, the only person he really tells things to is of Crazy and things and even that isn't a lot of personal details. He tends to avoid any and all subjects about himself that don't have to do with what he ate for dinner or his dancing. 
He can come off as a little mysterious because of this but that's not really the image he goes for. 
You wouldn't pin him as the secretive type but that's just who he is. 

Beckett was always a little energetic as a kid and was even somewhat troublesome. He never got any work done and he almost failed his first couple years of school because of it. This issue drove his parents to finding him an activity that took up some of that extra energy. 
This is when he was introduced to dancing. And since then he has been in love with it. 

Dancing has always been a big part of his life and it takes away from the thinking and the worries. It's the only time he can turn off all the noise and just let everything go. 
His family life has always been rather normal and average, both his parents worked and he hardly ever saw them but he didn't mind so much since he had his best friend and not to mention his other best friend which was his childhood dog. 
He was a little lonely at times at home alone but again he just danced and everything seemed to melt away and life was better.
