A little world background. Fae and all magical creature do exist. Though some fae like to mingle with humans others do not. So no human blood is allowed in the land of the fae. That being said a lot of humans dont like fae either.

Name: "it doesn't matter. You'll forget it anyway." Dante. His name is just Dante. He  unattached himself from his last name years ago.

Race/species: "..... why do you want to know?" He is half human half fae.
Looks: "Heh. Take a picture this is the last time you'll see me." Is a rather nice looking individual. He has blond hair, brown eyes, and is rather fit. He has a spiral shaped scar on his right arm that looks like a vine of thorns was wrapped around it. The scar doesnt dig in or stick out and looks more like a tattoo than anything. Well that's the appearance he gives everyone. His real looks really only change the hair and eyes. His true hair color is a very dark red and his eyes and the purest of silver.

Likes: the forest, people, animals, pretty much anything that is living, books, and Archery.
Dislikes: the fae, being alone, blood and silence being the main ones.
Home: a small cabin in the forest. He lives by the town he grew up in that is just sounded by forests. There are other towns around it just takes a bit to get to them.
Family: "Shut up!" Dante has family. It's a long story though. All his family is alive though. He has two sisters and a brother along with his mom and dad.
Relationships: "...." none. He had one but that ended.
Personality: Dante is someone who has a front on all of the time twenty four seven. While before he was happy and carefree he isnt like that in the slightest anymore. He keeps things at a superficial level with people not seeing a point for it anymore. He treats others kindly though for the most part especially children. 
Powers: Dante does have some magical ability being able to manipulate light and cast some other spells.
Weapons: he uses a bow that can also split into two short swords.

Background: Dante had a rather normal and happy childhood. His mother was a full blood fae and his father a human. His mother had fallen in love with his father when he had unintentionally saved her from a fairy hunter. The fairy chose him and gave up her long life and magic to be with the human. They were quickly married and had children a few years later with Dante being the first. Now his father had no clue his wife was fae. Dante had dominant fae blood which gave him fae features like his color of hair and eyes. Now Dante never really was told of his heritag or powers as his mother used her own to keep the features hidden. However on his eighteenth birthday they were attacked by a human magic user. Being a valiant fighter Dante fought to defend his home but the mage easily over powered him and was about to kill him and when a powerful surge of magic left him and saved his. His magic had come up to save him being powerful because of build up but uncontrollable due to lack of use.mage being now weakened and angry recognized that Dante was fae and cast a curse on him. As long as he had fae blood in him any being that came across him would forget him all except for one and only one would be able to break the spell. Then the mage left. Dante didn't believe it at first and went to join his family but the curse had worked instantly. His family and the whole town had forgotten him and blamed him for the carnage because he looked like his true self. Even his mother forgot him. Dante fled to the forest. He hoped to find someone in the fae who could remove the curse and even tried to get to the king for help. While he didn't know he was a fae Dante Dante studied plenty about them. Dante tried to get entrance into the land of Fae but was stopped and branded due to his human blood leaving him in a true purgatory. Back at the town the people had forgotten a second time which gave him the chance to get food and supplies before leaving. He didn't get very far though being unable to leave all he loved behind. So he build a cabin on the outskirts of the town. A year later he met Jericho another magic user but a kind one. The man didn't forget him after one day. After he hadn't forgotten for a week Dante thought he found an exception to the spell. He asked for the mans help to get rid of the curse and over time the two fell in love. However a year to the day they met Jericho forgot showing how cruel the curse truly was.

Now: Dante is alone five years later acting as the town's silent protector from any monsters or rogue fae. He comes into town and leaves as a theif or a friend to only be known as a stranger the next day. Part of him has given up on removing the curse and focuses on protecting the town. Maybe one day he will find that exception.

Now while Dante may seem like he has it together on the outside he is hurting more than you can imagine. He is a mess that honestly just wants someone in life to love and love back.
