Hanaji is a very bright and out going guy and with those he takes an interest in he is pretty flirty. He's a playful guy always down for a good time though when needed he's able to put on a straight face and pull a plan together. He keeps calm in intense situations and is more so the kind of guys to talk things out if possible but if needed he's willing to punch someone when they're not looking. Hanaji does have a smart mouth on him though that usually ends him in trouble with the media more than other heroes. Most of the time other heroes know Hanaji doesn't mean harm by what he says and is being a genuine guy trying to help out. When Hanaji does get angry though its a good time to run and hide he'll hunt down the person that has pissed him off or wronged his family and teach them a lesson they'll never forget. Hanaji can also be pretty restless due to his ADHD never able to sit still if he's in a meeting he needs to stand or he'll be tapping his foot the whole time.

Hanaji being born with dragon physiology and a fire quirk makes it easy for him to handle his bright red flames that are able to melt though thick metal in seconds. Hanaji has good control of his quirk even having trained himself to be able to breathe fire and even eat fire. His dragon side of his quirk has given Hanaji incredibly thick skin that is highly resistant to flames protecting him from getting any burns but he has yet to find any clothes that are as resistant to his flames as he is. Hanaji hasn't had much trouble with his quirk not overly using it while at work he uses it more in a close range during a fight or when there is a need to weld objects together on the fly. Though the smoke from his flames has started to cause Hanaji some breathing problems and chest pains especially when he breathes fire.

Backstory:
Being the oldest son of the Royce children Hanaji was born during a chaotic time of Shizuka's life having recently lost Touya (or so he thinks) and finishing up his third year in UA. Hanaji grew up not knowing who his father was. His mother always having switched the topic to something else it always being something Hanaji wondered since he could form a thought. Hanaji grew up in a life surrounded by Pro heroes practically being raised in his mothers hero agency it helped Hanaji with his aspirations of becoming a strong pro hero like his mother. As Hanaji grew more he came and saw his brothers biological fathers leave and grew rather independent from it. Feeling like he was the one that needed to step up and be the one his younger brothers rely on as well as his mother he got into UA rather easily and grew to be one of the more popular kids at school having a strong quirk and good looks he practically had heroes fighting over him when it came to the time of work studies Hanaji having originally wanting to go to Endeavor to learn more about his fire quirk but with no reason given Shizuka refused to let Hanaji go. Out of fear that Hanaji would disobey shizuka as well Hanaji's mother had denied Hanaji the ability to participate in the work studies. As Hanaji moved into his second year at UA he took on an internship with Sir Nighteye, this internship helped Hanaji really hone his detective and critical thinking skills since sure being able to fight was a big part of being a pro hero but Hanaji felt what was the point if he can't actually solve a case handed to him. During his time at Sir Nighteye's Hanaji was given a task to guard an up coming idol named Matt. This idol soon to become Hanaji's future husband the redhead grew close as Matts bodyguard. The two began to date in secret in fear of the backlash that both would get not only from the fans but from Matts agency as well. Once Hanaji graduated from UA he started college as well on becoming a ER nurse wanting to be able to have the knowledge as well as the correct credentials to treat critical patients out on the field. It was a lot for Hanaji the redhead barely able to keep himself afloat and would have drowned if it wasn't for Matt helping keep Hanaji up and moving as well as making sure Hanaji actually ate, took shower, really the basic self care. Hanaji finished up his degrees needed to be a er nurse and shot up in popularity in the hero world after helping saved people from a burning office building. Hanaji's fan base and popularity grew more and more getting him more jobs and more money shooting his placement up into the top five Hanaji's world only grew when Matt became pregnant with their twins. Hanaji was over the moon but knew they couldn't hide their relationship anymore he and Matt both came out with their relationship publicly and well . . . They faced a lot of backlash but Hanaji didn't care he was happy. They where soon married and with the birth of the twins Hanaji stepped back from hero work moving to only working as a part time hero taking on special cases dealing with quirk trafficking Hanaji works now as a teacher at UA.
