personality: Maya is very friendly and kind. She always tries her best even in silly things like competition when she has no chance of winning because of her lack of sight. However, she still enjoys it. She is loud at times and on the annoying side with all the questions.

backstory: Maya was born blind. She had never seen anything and it was very scary. As a kid, she was always afraid of the dark and she was constantly in it. The kids didn't quite understand her issue so they made fun of her but she really didn't let that bother her that much. However, one day after school sometime in 5th grade she came home to her parents fighting. Her mother had said something about her being blind. She couldn't exactly remember but she remembered the way it made her feel. Soon after that her father and mother got divorced and she had been their only child. Her father was kind and caring and even got her a dog and helped her with her singing lessons. After the divorce, she never heard from her mother again but this didn't bother her.
