Personality: Nick has grown bitter over the centuries. He is so far from who he once was as a human. He used to see the potential in the world. That all quickly faded as he began seeing the world through a immortal lens. He's become pessimistic seeing no hope for the world and fears the eventual doom of it all along with his damnation. Along with is pessimism he has quite a temper and can easily be sent into a rage if you know what buttons to push. He is also quite cunning and strategically intelligent. He had a way of keeping up an unwanted dynasty at its peak for centuries. In the end he was taken down only by brute force. While Nikolai's first choice is solitude he often finds himself around others, but only because he enjoys manipulating them. He is quite good at it too, manipulating people is like a twisted hobby of his.

Backstory: Nikolai Pavlov was born centuries ago in 1685 in the cold unforgiving lands of great Russia. He grew up just as the Russian Tzar's began to take hold of the Russian Empire. His human life was brief compared to the life that was to come. Unlike many Nikolai's rebirth was no accident or chance of fate. Nikolai along with countless others was reborn as a soldier for the Russian Coven. It was the first threat to rise against the Volturi since they had taken over the vampire world. Because of Nikolai's useful gift in being able to telepathically immobilize and paralyze those around him, he quickly rose in rank and ended up being assigned as guard to the royal Russian bloodline. As long as the Tzar dynasty lasted the Russian Coven was able to puppeteer the entire Empire behind their human facade. Eventually Nikolai had become so involved in the Russian Coven he became one of its leaders. On some occasions they had outright battles with the Volturi. Neither side was able to overcome the other. That is until 1917. Instead of going for the Russian Coven itself the Volturi went for their human facade. It crumbled to pieces almost over night. The whole Russian Coven was slaughtered after the Revolution broke out, all thanks to the Volturi's influences. Nikolai was all that remained of the Great Russian Coven and he was taken prisoner for his crimes against the Volturi. They now only keep him as a trophy of sorts or rather a reminder of their great strength. That and Aro drearily loves to torment Nikolai as punishment.
