But the adventurous life of Robin Blue did not begin from following a treasure map; this lifestyle was what he was born into. Well...mostly the thieving part.
His family was unlucky in the money field. His parents had multiple jobs, even his older teenage sister had a job to support the sudden new baby left on their doorstep. Despite the dent in their lives Robin put in, they loved him and made sure he knew that.

So, when Robin was a teenager and became more aware of the situation, he started doing small crimes. Shoplifting. Burgalry. Pickpocketing. Anything that could get him money that wasn't going to make him uncomfortable. He never told his family how the money was suddenly being in their possession...but they had a feeling. Out of desperation to keep the entire family stable, they even encouraged the behavior. His sister taught him how to fight hand to hand combat. His father taught him how to research a place to find out what could lay inside. His mother sewed pockets with easy access for him.

As an adult, he drifted away from the stealing and more into studying history...but he fell back into it upon realizing that treasure could be found. Treasure that could give help to the people who helped him, and to anyone else who needs it. It was almost as if he was Robin Hood; steal the treasures, give to those who need it.
But stealing was still so boring now. Cue the tours and personalized stealing service to spice everything up.
