About: Ghost ships are the most popular topic when it comes to eerie sea sights. A sunken ship seen afloat, a foggy ship appearing and disappearing in the blink of an eye...so many tales and stories have been written for the public's entertainment.
But there's another eerie factor of these forgotten ships that not many speak of. Perhaps it is fear that keeps lips sealed, or perhaps the concept of a foggy ship is spooky enough.
But those vessels seen at sea glide so perfectly in the water, as if it's a functional ship run by a living captain and manned by a living crew. But it's not a living man spinning the wheel or hoisting sails...it's a dead man.

Long ago, when pirates were at their prime, a boy named Richard was once just a cabin boy. But, as he grew up, he got smarter about sea ways. He was bolder than any captain, much smarter than any other cabin boy. So it shouldn't be a surprise to hear that the twenty five year old had managed to eliminate his captain and take over. Unfortunately, no one knew that he was captain now and panicked, leaving their duties to search for a body that was sinking now. And because of that, Richard died on the same day his dream came true. His ship, The Golden Sea, ran into rocks and sunk. Richard didn't drown like others, or die from other sea-caused demises. No, he had been impaled by the very ship he praised as home.

But only a year after that, he re-awoke as a ghost. Still captain. Perhaps irony made his ship a ghostly vessel to be seen, or perhaps an unknown force took pity on the brave youth...but either way, the ghost wanders the sea on his ship, barking orders at his dead crew. Legends say that if someone is lost at sea...they are never seen again when the golden sunrise bathes them in light, for that is the hour that Richard's ship sails the seas to capture people and take treasures...relieving the good ol' days, as many other ghost crews and captains do.

But centuries of doing that gets boring but...that's the afterlife of a ghost ship for ya. A loop of the old activities without the grandeur they once held. And despite that, Richard adores his afterlife. Finally...he gets to be captain!
