Ken woke up by a shake, groggily turn towards his sister.

"Can't sleep?"

Ruri nodded. Ken sigh and knew this can't continue. He started to think of their mother, of how she managed put them to sleep. Then he got an idea. Sneakily, he went out before returning back with a book.

"C'mon Ruri, I will read you a bedtime story"

She nodded before heading to her makeshift bed. Ken started to read.

"Long ago, there were eight gods ruling the world..."

Time passed, Ken smiled as Ruri slept comfortably.

"Goodnight sister"

Sleep overcame him once he is in bed
