A slim and lean feline with long limbs. She exhibits a dainty but graceful figure; plenty of muscles in her wiry frame that speak of power through every movement. The main color of her fur is a crisp ivory with some tannish variations; which then darken to a grayish color at her face and paw tips like most pointed cat breeds. Her hind legs darken, having a more brownish undertone similar to her bushy tail; with her large ears being the darkest shade of brown. Her eyes are a deep sapphire blue; sloped in a way that gives an inquisitive expression.

𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 

Saltdance is a cat who exhibits grace with every step; with a lean frame that is clearly built for speed. She has long limbs and a slim build; with a plumed tail that flags out behind her when she moves.

Saltdance is primary an ivory color, with some subtle tan variantions that are most prominent on her upper fore and hind legs. It's like a streak that quickly blends into the paler shade; the two colors meshing together almost like a gradient. Her face is pointed and angular; with a color coloring painting her muzzle, cheeks and forehead. Two stripe like marks are apparent on her face; emphasizing a speedier build. This is further shadowed by her large and equally pointed ears - the backs of which are a very dark brown with a gray undertone.

The slight ivory and tan coloring on her body fades to a soft gray; giving her a distinct 'pointed cat breed' look. The backs of her hind legs are slightly darker then her forepaws; being more brownish then grey. Her thick, plumed tail is also more brown; a darker tan especially visible on the very end of her tail.

Saltdance's eyes are a deep sapphire blue color; muted and dark.

A very friendly cat. Saltdance is kind without a hidden desire for anything malicious towards another. She only ever harbors goodwill towards others; trying to be welcoming but not overbearing. Granted she doesn't always get it right, but she usually does a better job the second time around.

Saltdance has always been partial to company; in the sense that she prefers being around others. Ever big on community and family; she finds that she prospers the most in group settings. That isn't to say that she can't handle being alone - but she's very sociable. She likes talking to others, and the moments where she can be happy and relax with another has always served to ground her. She finds solace in forming bonds with her clan mates; seeing them as a family she lost rather early on in life.

Where most cats would falter in the light, that's where she shines. She doesn't get nervous under pressure, nor anxious. She gets bold. Brave. Assured. Like she knows without a doubt that she'll be doing her best. Of course there will always be a lingering fear of messing up and doing wrong; but it's always squashed by the desire to prove her worth, and show that she can handle it - whatever it may be. This allows her to take leadership roles with grace, creating a confident cat who will step up if need be.

She often has a tendency to entertain others with a somewhat extravagant display; but that's not who she always is. Outside of it all, she's less loud. Less of someone performing for an audience; and more so of someone whose content making small jokes here and there. She still retains a playful and rather youthful persona, but it is often scaled down in favor of something more relaxed. She knows and is fully aware that she can be a bit much sometimes, so the way in which she acts will shift for every cat.

Waveflash - a blue gray tom with amber eyes. He was kind, friendly and very patient, which made him a very good mentor for Saltdance when she was younger. She was thankful to have someone train her that didn't mind all her questions and near endless enthusiasm.

Iriscatcher - a slim cream and white dappled she cat with green eyes. She was a kind cat and mother to all; having birthed Saltdance rather late in her life meant that there were a few health complications. Despite that, Saltdance only has warm memories of her mother; and misses her dearly. Dead. Not playable.

Boltbreeze - a sandy yellow colored tom with a white underside and green eyes. He was known for being energetic and a bit reckless in his younger years, but mellowed out when he got older. He was happy to have a daughter, and lavished her with love. Dead. Not playable.

For the first few moons of her life, Saltkit could only remember happiness. She remembered the way her mother gently groomed her; and how fun it felt to cling to her father's back as he bounded around camp.

She made friends, was taught important life lessons and had fun.

Unfortunately, when she was around three moons old, that's when things changed. A patrol was attacked by some hungry hawks, and her father in particular seemed to sustain several injuries. Even though he was tended to, his wounds grew infected and he ended up dying. Her mother was greatly saddened; and grew depressed. Saltkit didnt quite understand why her mother turned hollow; but she remembered when she got sick and never got better.

Suddenly, she was alone. No siblings. No mom. No dad. Just her. And she was sad a lot, often sulking about. She had lost her love for playing and fun; and fell into a slump.

Thankfully, she was able to recover. With no one to look after her, she gained plenty of attention. She was essentially raised by the clan; shown what it meant to be a family by cats you weren't related to. Pretty much everyone was kind to her; and it was thanks to that kindness that she is the cat who she is today.

𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃

Saltpaw had a smooth apprenticeship; or as smooth as one goes. There were challenges of course, but she battled them as they came. Her mentor was good for her, giving her pushes when she needed it - but also being encouraging towards her. 

This solidified a good relationship between the two, and Saltpaw was very happy to have him.

𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃

Her assessment went well, and Saltdance became a Windrunner of the clan. She took to her duty with grace yet also excitement - eager to prove herself.
