First get your picture. Any pic. I'mma use the one with a cupcake

Make another layer, then tap on the pen named "Pen (Fade)"

Use a dark blue/purple color

Muse the line smaller for it to be easier to use

Draw the shade

Lower the pen thingy (I don't remember the name of that thing. But basically lower what I'm pointing at in the picture to whater you want) (Also turn on force fade)

Do strokes, not lines. Strokes. Do this until satisfied

Lower what the arrows are pointing at until you think it looks okay

And there you go. You shaded like a DikSpread
