PERSONALITY
CHARACTERISTICS| ·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ He tries to seem serious, uptight, and professional at all times but really, he is easily amused and lighthearted. And frankly, a little dimwitted. However, he's still a sweetheart. Liam embodies all that a knight should be: kind, sympathetic, respectful, and chivalrous. He can't stand anyone who doesn't share the same values. He's sweet and charismatic but can be a little awkward at times. He is loyal to a near fault but will stand up when he feels something is wrong. Contrary to his usual kind nature, Liam becomes bitter around nobility, unwittingly blunt and spiteful to those who are pompous or conceited. He is passionate and dedicated, but that also makes him headstrong. He's emotional; in private, he's insecure and anxious, but for others, he can be patient and a good listener.
In other words, Liam is a himbo.

BACKGROUND
BACKGROUND SUMMARY| ·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ Uilliam was born into a poor but happy family. It was a very traditional family with a father that worked and provided, a mother who cleaned and fed, and children who did their best to serve their parents. They were in no way a toxic sort of nuclear family as each member loved each other equally and were emotionally close.
Liam's father, Gilroy, was in debt to the town's baron (like many others) and worked in his field. One day, the baron came knocking at the family's door, looking for payment they did not have. The baron threatened to take Gilroy's life if he could pay up; he had a dagger, waving it viciously at the father and his family.
A royal knight, who just so happened to be riding by, happened upon the scene and intervened. In some twisted form of compassion, he offered to pay off the family's debt in exchange they give up their eldest son, Liam, to become his apprentice. Fearing they had no choice, Liam's mother and father agreed to this transaction. In his last moments with his parents, Liam was given an auburn ascot, the most expensive thing his father owned, and a gold brooch, his mother's family heirloom.
In just minutes, Uilliam's life had completely changed, all for the price of 800 gold coins. He rode away with the knight, Sir Archibald, with his gifts and a heavy heart. The only thing keeping his heart from shattering into pieces was the goal he sent for himself: he'd become one of the greatest knights and bring his family out of poverty.
