It's disappointing because I put a lot of thought and research into Nat's background and it sucks that I never got to use him. APPEARANCE

Natalaar is a mixed species alien between a human father and a Baluurian mother. Baluurians are known to have purple to greyish-blue skin, white hair, and black eyes. His father's genes were mostly dominant, making Natalaar stand out amongst his species.

Natalaar looks similar to the featured faceclaim, except he has white hair and no horns.

PERSONALITY

CHARACTERISTICS| ·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ Natalaar is still adjusting to human culture. Xe tends to overthink and take everything seriously but is easily amused and loves a good joke (when xe gets it). Xe can seem a bit slow and unaware when it comes to indirect things like sarcasm, metaphors, and passive comments, but xe certainly isn't stupid. Academically, Nat is quite intelligent, especially in the sciences. Nat is very inquisitive, sometimes to an intrusive extent, asking a lot of (personal) questions, but xe is simply curious and means well. Xe is very eager to learn and will listen to anyone willing to share; however, xe is not gullible and will start asking questions if xe feels xe's being led astray. Nat is often mild-mannered, bubbly, and sweet, passionate about caring for his family and friends. Xe often gets sad before xe gets angry, but when Nat is angry, it isn't pleasant for anyone.

BACKGROUND

BACKGROUND SUMMARY| ·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ Before forming the Guardians of the Galaxy and sometime after leaving Yondu's Ravager clan, Peter Quill forged his own reputation as an intergalactic outlaw. And during his time, he met many women. (Not to say Quill was anything like his father; I assume he had consensual and age-appropriate relations.)  While hiding out in the Negative Zone, Quill met Sanjaar, and one thing led to another, he had a one-night stand with the young woman. Unbeknownst to him, he left her pregnant. Months later, she would give birth to a very powerful and very unstable little boy.

Luckily Natalaar grew to be a healthy and strong child. However, xe was not easily accepted amongst fellow Baluurians. Due to the Guardian's intergalactic fame, Nat came to learn of his father. While his mother was bitter and resentful, Nat was more than impressed by xyrs dad. When xe came of age, xe left the stellar void xe called home and went to earth, residing in New Asgard as xe traveled the planet to learn more about his father, follow in his footsteps, and make friends who'd accept his unique heritage.
