Though she loves to play the coy and innocent one her temper can be short sometimes when that happens and you're at the end of her anger you can expect her sadistic nature to kick in.

Backstory: Mai came from a middle class family in California. It was a normal life until her mutation showed up in her genetics when she hit pubescence. Soon enough her little brother appeared to have the same thing happen to him. Her parents weren't very excited about having children with this kind of genetic mutation so they were sent to live in New York with their uncle. As she grew up Mai became the main caretaker after their uncle grew too old to be doing most of the stuff he could when he was younger. She didn't mind, she finished out her high school career then did study and get a zoology bachelors degree from college and took up a job at the New York zoo as a vet and caretaker there.
