The reason why Some of them hate mortals is because how their elements or types have been treated for years, alma and spectre are the ones with the most hatred in their hearts for mortals as dark and ghost types have been treated poorly for years and years.   It does surprise some that sugar is friendly to mortals but this is because she's a fairy, she can't really fight off that instinct to be friendly towards others, despite her types are the most targeted out of the others.
