Personality: He is usually someone extremely serious on the outside, amd he doesn't trust anyone, neither very serious nor very cheerful. He is an ally of the Knights of Favonius without becoming one, as he does not like to be tied to a place. He also likes to take care of the animals on the streets, giving them water and food and even playing with them. When you get to know him and break the ice, he can be very cheerful. But due to his past and the walls he created around him, it takes a lot of time and patience.

Likes: Reading about Teyvat's history, sweet things (he has a sweet tooth since his parents never gave him sweets), a hand running through his hair, being able to glide through the skies, peace and quiet environments, and to help others.

Dislikes: The Fatui, being reminded about where he comes from, being mocked at, being told what to do when he doesn't ask for it, having to fight against others (Hilichurls and Abyss Mages are fine tho). He also fears at the beginning to leave Mondstadt, but with time, he will get confident and leave the city and go far outside.

Vision: He has actually two Visions, a Cryo and an Anemo

Family and friends: His parents despise him for having an Anemo Vision apart from a Cryo when they all had only one Cryo Vision, so and considers them strangers. He gets along particularly well with Jean and Diluc, and can't stand Kaeya.

Fun facts: He always carries animal food in a small bag tied to his belt, and has a lucky amulet consisting of a Geo Sigil that a little girl gave him when he went once to Liyue, which he wears on his neck like a necklace.

Story:

[Character Details]

No one, except for Diluc and Jean, knows where Dairvar comes from. He just appeared one day in the city, and has stayed there ever since.

Always serious, this young man walks around the city in search of people who need help in exchange for Mora. He's known for his serious face, only smiling when he needs to because of formalities... But no one has ever seen a natural smile.

And when it comes to the Fatui that walk around... You can tell he's uncomfortable by the way he tenses.

[Story 1]

Dairvar never grew like a normal child. He experienced the world through the books he read and the always closed window of his room. As a child, he was interested in people and how they laughed, smiled, and seemed so carefree. He even tried to imitate those smiles by standing in front of the mirror and using his fingers to turn his lips up.

He only got out of house when his parents took him to the Fatui Headquarters. Then, he would be able to touch the snow and he would always find it cold, yet he liked the way it molded to his hands.

Always so quiet, he only ever spoke when he was addressed to. Or when he spoke back to his parents. But over time, he learnt not to do the latest.

He only dreamed of one thing, the one thing that would later make the difference and let him escape from his personal hell: freedom.

[Story 2]

Dairvar only holds special memories about his mother before he turned four.

In one of those memories, his mother held him tightly and let him cry when he tripped over and scraped his knees. She smiled kindly at him and hummed a soft tune while she cleaned the wounds and put band-aids on them.

Other memories included them cooking together -though it was his mother cooking and him watching-, learning the difference between the colors and the animals, and cuddling in his bed as his mother read him bedtime stories under the blankets.

So Dairvar didn't understand when all of that changed, and his mother turned into a cold person, just like his father.

He will never admit it, but even nowadays, Dairvar holds those memories of happier times as his most precious treasure.

[Story 3]

As a citizen of Mondstadt, Dairvar enjoys the freedom the Anemo Archon granted them, at least in theory. But due to Dairvar's traumatic past, he built invisible walls around him and he doesn't let anyone in, which doesn't give him the sense to be free.

But as he always says: 'if you don't open yourself to others, you can't get hurt.' Dairvar values his own safety over his own freedom, and he's just happy to know that he won't become a puppet of the Tsaritsa nor won't get beaten ever again.

But when you start to know him, when he unexpectedly opens up, you can see him smile and relax around you. This only happens with those he trusts, and it takes patience and kindness, and showing him that he won't get hurt. Only then you will see him actually being happy.

Up to date, it only happens with three people: Lisa, Jean, and Diluc. He knows they won't betray him.

[Story 4]

When he was no older than ten, Dairvar attempted to run away from home, taking the chance when his parents left him alone to go grocery shopping. He managed to open his door's knob, and he knew time was ticking fast, so he grabbed a few clothes and some food and ran away.

The snow reached his knees, but that didn't stop the inexperienced boy from trying to get as far away from home as possible.

He didn't manage to make it to the outskirts of the city when a group of Fatui caught him. He was shaking, not only because of how cold it was and the way he was dressed, but also because of the fear that was striking him when he got intercepted.

He got dragged back home as he kicked and yelled, hoping that someone would hear him and help him, but the few people who saw him just turned their eyes away from him, and seeing it broke Dairvar's heart and trust in humankind.

That day, he got beaten to the point where he almost had his ribs broken, and he couldn't walk for a few days from the pain that would struck his whole body.

He never attempted to run away again... until he got his Vision.

[Story 5]

Many have tried to guess what's behind Dairvar's bandage on his arm. Many guess it's a nasty wound from his journey to Mondstadt. Others thought he just had it because he had some disease. And others wondered if it was just stylistic.

In reality, Dairvar hides a tattoo under it. He got it the day he reached his sixteen birthday. There weren't cakes, candles, nor gifts. He was just dragged out of his house, his head hanging down, as they reached the person who would mark Dairvar's arm with the family's tattoo.

It is both a reminder and a warning for him. A reminder from where he comes from, and the hate he has towards it and his family. A warning because he knows that, if a Fatui saw it, he would be in so much trouble.

Thus he hides it, so no one can see it, and you will never see him paying attention to it. Though, if he's nervous or anxious, he will most likely start playing with the bandage, as it keeps him somehow occupied. As long as he doesn't see the tattoo underneath it, he doesn't mind at all.

[Vision]

Dairvar always dreaded the day he would get his Vision. He knew he would get it, both of his parents had decades ago, and so did the other members of his family. If he didn't, he could say goodbye to his life.

But if he got it, he would be serving the Tsaritsa as a Fatui, and he would eventually have to rise inside the ranks and become a Harbinger.

That's why he called that day the 'Day of Doom'.

Like always, he stood up early in the morning and had what could be called breakfast. After it, he was told to get ready, so he did it, and they left the house to go to the Fatui's Headquarters.

He saw the Tsaritsa and one of the Harbingers there, and it hit him that he would be tested to see if he was worthy of a Vision or not.

Keeping his cool, he started to fight. But he wasn't nearly as strong as his opponent. That was when he felt a sudden wave of Elemental power, one he could not control for some reason. And as it came out, it produced an unexpected Elemental Reaction.

There, hanging on his waistband, were two Visions: one Cryo... and one Anemo.

That left everyone, including Dairvar, petrified. He felt exhausted and his body ached, craving for some rest. But as he saw the chilling smile of the Tsaritsa, he knew it: he had to run away.

He used both Visions to make his way out of the Headquarters, and once he did it, out of the city.

That's how his journey to the Nation of Wind and Freedom began.

E: When E is pressed, Dairvar will unleash an Anemo blade in that will affect to every enemy in a 10 meters AoE. When E is held, Dairvar will do a somersault, Anemo winds surrounding him like a sphere, with four Anemo blades going in four different directions.

Q: His Elemental Burst will give Dairvar a boost in speed while he keeps enemies pinned to the ground, letting him attack them without getting hurt. Duration: 20 seconds

CRYO:

E: When E is held, Dairvar's claymore will be imbued in Ice, causing Cryo damage to the enemies that are hit during the span of 15 seconds, 20 seconds max. if three enemies are taken down in the first 10 seconds.

Q: When Q is pressed, a blast of Cryo energy will surge around Dairvar, causing AoE in an area of 5 meters at first, 10 meters max. when his talents are maxed.

CRYO & ANEMO:

E: When E is held, Dairvar will use a mix of both attacks, creating a shield around him while Cryo blades are sent in four directions. Creates an Elemental Reaction of Whirl in Dairvar and loses HP.

Q: His Elemental Burst will get the enemies stuck, as does his Anemo Elemental Burst, while the blast of Cryo energy happens. Creates an Elemental Reaction of Whirl in Dairvar and loses HP.
