Backstory: Nieves had a rough life, ever since she was child she was born from a small village with her mother. Her mother was very ill and the people of the village avoided her because they believed she was curse, they blamed her for things going missing, and hilicurls attacking their village.Nieves blamed herself for everything but her mother told her that she wasn't a curse but a marcial the one day her mother past away as people of the village thought this was the perfect time and throw her out of the village. She was upset and accepted that she was cursed. She traveled around villages and towns but those ignored her. Someone grabbed her trying to sell her off to someone but some man saved her and took her in, she wondered why the man took her in andtold her his name wax Eryx and that he was a very good friend of her father. She was surprise by this then she was raised by the man and train her to defend herself from others who want to hurt her. Though she always had to hide when the Fatui were around as she ask why she had to hide, he told her that him and her father were fatui and he told her father was a very skilled and stronge person but he gave up everything when she was born but this upset the Fatui and wanted to take Nieves but he protected her until the end. The man told her she had a talented gift just like her father.Nieves wanted to be stronger to protect him and others, years later she traveled around the world she learned new culture, met new people, and try new food. She turn 14 and she wanted to prove that she can defend herself but he told her she wasn't ready.

She was upset about this and wanted to prove herself so she went to some ruin as she look around for a monster or something then she took was attack by the fatui as she struggled as Signora glared at Lumi and told her that her father was nothing but worthless traitor as she glared at her, Eryx managed to reach the ruins before they could hurt her. Eryx try to fight Signora but he failed and was badly injured. Signora throw Eryx into a hole and did the same thing to Lumi as there was a ruin guards as Eryx try to defend her. Lumi try to fight them but failed as the ruin guard try to kill her Eryx protect her but he lost his life. Lumi saw this and was furious as she try to wake him up but no answer then something inside her snapped as she scream in anger and sadness as she opened her eyes the ruin guards were destroyed by a large knight that was cover with ice. She got her vision, she buried her mentor and left as she reached Mondstadt that's where she lives by herself trying not to hurt anyone because of her.
