Personality: Mingyu is pretty much this bubbly and hyperactive type of person. He loves to meet new people and make new friends along the way. He doesn't care if people give him hate or throw insults at him, he always stays on the positive side and pretty much shuts down any negativity that rises up. He tends to act like a goofball at times but when it comes time to be serious, like playing in a basketball game, he turns into a whole new person. This can throw people off because they don't think he is going to take it seriously but it's quite the opposite. He isn't the type who likes to lose at all. When opposing teams try to say they are going to win, he shuts them down by giving them this intense face, one that makes them shiver to their core and shocks them, saying that they are wrong, his team was going to win instead.

Background: Mingyu was born and raised in South Korea before he moved to Japan. While growing up, he was always the type to try new things, really big on playing any sports that he could. His two main sports that he was into were cheerleading and basketball. People looked down on him for doing cheerleading but he could care less on what others thought. He loves learning how to flip and do, just letting out all his energy when he does it. Sometimes, he would apply his abilities that he learned from cheer into his basketball playing. His high jump is pretty incredible for how short he is, pretty much able to reach the net for a dunk if he wanted to. He wished he could add other moves into his playing abilities but knows that he would get called out by refs for it. That doesn't stop him from trying it out at practice. Even though he acts like a complete goofball during any type of practice, when it comes time to a real game or anything, his whole persona changes and he pretty goes into his own zone. This mostly can catch people off guard because they get the idea that he doesn't care about what he is doing. When moving to Japan, that didn't stop him from not joining the basketball team at his new school. Even though he was a bit late to the party, he is determined to help his team win at all costs.
