Backstory: Gia is from Eddie's mom's side of the family. She was born and raised in Texas, pretty much close with her cousin Eddie all of her life. The two of them were practically like siblings. When the whole thing went down with her cousin and his wife, him leaving for Los Angeles really hit her hard.. She was going to attend college in Texas until she decided to move to Los Angeles and stay with Eddie. Since she liked to help people but not out on the field like her cousin, she decided the best option for her was to become a 9-1-1 Operator. She enjoys her job a lot but sometimes, it can be tough. She takes it head on and doesn't try to let it affect her life. She does all she can in order for these people who call to get help.
