Personality: Layla is an interesting young woman in her own right. A lot of people think she's standoffish, but truthfully, she's just slow to warm up to people. She isn't the type to trust easily and because of this, it takes time for her to form a bond with anyone. She's strong and independent and so relying on others has never come easily to her, either. However, if you do manage to earn her trust, her companionship, and even her love, you should be careful not to lose it, for Layla isn't the type to forgive and forget. She has a bad habit of holding grudges—to the point where she might only forgive you once you're six feet under with a tombstone above your head. Layla is notably clever and she uses her mind and what little, odd charm she has to maneuver her way through situations. She tends to also be both ambitious and determined. Once she sets her sights on something, she rarely backs down. The Arabian girl does what's best for her, constantly in self-preservation mode, subconsciously anyways. She also tends to be naturally snarky and blunt, preferring to say what comes to mind and having little concern for the reactions of others. Well, unless she's hoping to impress someone or achieve something, in which case she applies a clever filter. She can be known to be a bit manipulative, too, but only if she needs to be. Truthfully, Layla may be a closed off person from first meetings, but as you get to know her—if she lets you in—you'll learn just what a brilliant, thoughtful, and strong woman she is. Layla is the kind of girl who considers herself fit to rule, to govern, if given the chance. There's a lot more to her than meets the eye, but with due time her character—her true character—will come to be known.

Backstory: Layla grew up with two older brothers, Jamal and Kaiden, alongside her mother and father. They had a fairly normal life, even while growing up in a working class household, always somewhat struggling in the heat of the desert. Layla had always set her sights on greater things though, and this is what helped to spawn her ambition. She has good relationships with each of her family members, but her relationship with her father could be classified as just a bit shaky. He hasn't necessarily approved of all of her life choices and often has high expectations for her, if only because he expects her to live up to the legacies of her older brothers. She isn't the kind to really open up about all the little pieces of her backstory, but the gist is that, despite whatever challenges she or her family faced, Layla always pulled through.

Secret(s) they would want to die with them: Layla has plenty of secrets, ones that she prefers not to share. Desert girls know how to hold their tongues to survive. Still, she's done some things she regrets in order to get to where she is now. If anyone found out the things she had done...? Layla couldn't bear the thought of all the grime being out in the open.

Opinion about The Royal Family: Layla is rather indifferent when it comes to the royal family. Though, obviously she's grateful for the opportunity this selection presents. She truly doesn't have any strong opinions one way or the other. Though, that might change after she meets them in person...
