She is 5'1", with a slight hourglass figure and a small chest. She darkish blue hair that looks almost black. She has green eyes and pale skin. Her main accessory is a darkish blue fur-lined cloak she wears around her shoulders.

Personality: She's a kind person, but rather mistrustful of those she doesn't know well. She's very warm and affectionate with her loved ones, as well as being very protective of them. She'd rather dive into danger alone than let someone she cares about get hurt following her. She loves adventuring and experiencing new things. She has a competitive streak, which can sometimes cause her to go overboard for just a little competition. She likes to tease her friends and family, as well. She can be sarcastic and snappy when she's stressed, frustrated, or upset. She hates discrimination of any kind, and will do what she can to protect the victims. She knows that she can't always defeat those she wants to fight (like the Celestial Dragons since that could negatively affect the civilians on that island). She tends to be more action-based than wordy; often placing small gifts for her loved ones when she notices they are upset.

Backstory: She was born as the youngest princess in a kingdom whose monarch's hearts were as cold as the snow that fell constantly around the island. She had an  older brother, Tsukiya, who had always been very kind and caring towards her. She had been close with him. She was eight when she accidentally ate her devil fruit, having been playing in the snow and wandered a bit farther from the castle than she had usually gone. She had gotten hungry and found a fruit lying near. She'd only realized she had powers now when she'd gotten lost and started crying, afraid she'd never find her way home. With her emotions running high, she'd turned into a small ice dragon. She'd ended up getting close to the castle before she'd fallen asleep, exhausted. She was soon found by one of the castle's soldiers, who brought her back to the castle. Since she had no control over her powers, she had gotten stuck in her dragon form. So, she was brought to the king and queen as an exotic pet. When she'd woken up, she had been already tied and caged in a large room in the palace - one she'd never been in before. Every time she broke free of the cage, she would be caught and re-caged. She had had nowhere to go, since she'd only ever known this country. Years later, the Spade Pirates landed on the island. They heard from the villagers about a dragon kept near the castle, so they went to check it out. Ace soon realized that this ice dragon was a devil fruit user. He'd convinced her she didn't have to stay in that prison, and he and his crew helped her escape. As they ran back to the Spadille, he asked Arista to join his crew, but let her know they could drop her off at a different island if she'd prefer that. She didn't have anywhere else to go, and she'd seen the kind of people the Spade Pirates were while they'd helped her escape the island she'd grown up in. She joined the  crew and from there, she and Ace grew closer.

When the Spade Pirates initially fought Whitebeard, she returned to stand with Ace along with the rest of the crew. Thatch was the first to welcome her onto the ship, and though it took her a bit to trust him, they became good friends soon enough. She helped out in Thatch's division like how the rest of the Spade Pirates were helping out around the ships. Upon realizing the type of person Whitebeard was and how important he was to so many people, she was staunchly against Ace fighting him. They had a big argument, and that was when she met Izo. He comforted her and gave her sound advice for how to resolve things with Ace. After Ace's last fight with Pops, they talked it out and apologized to each other, resolving their argument.

When Teech betrayed the crew, Risu had been away on a mission from Arisu. When she'd returned, she was told what had occurred while she was away. Of course she furious. She went off to search to Teech as well, but Ace had found him first. She later found out from the newspaper that Ace had been captured. Once she did, she returned to the Moby Dick to prepare for the coming war.

Once the Whitebeard Pirates disbanded, she went off on her own. She quit being a pirate, but she still wandered from island to island. She kept the vivre cards of her former crewmates on her at all times, having sewn them into the inside of her cloak with its owner's name above each vivre card.
