Jasmine grew up on Asgard with her mother; Anissa. She would visit her half-brother and father sometimes when she was not with Thor and Loki. Odin had deemed her the princess of Light. Anissa had also chosen Odin as her God father and Jasmine was close with Odin and Frigga as she always called them uncle Odin and Auntie Frigga.

When Jasmine was about 4-5 she had gotten kidnapped by HYDRA and was used by them as an expiremnet. By the time she was saved her was able to use magic like Loki as well as control ice.

Even after being saved she still suffers from nightmares about what had happened. They terrify her.
