Henry always had trouble with physical activity, given his condition. Due to how nerdy he ended up becoming, he got picked up and was bullied even into his college years. Eventually he had enough and wanted it desperately to stop, so he ended up doing probably not the most logical thing: a ritual where he traded his soul off for something he wanted. He was greeted with a wrath demon and asked to not be weak and not have people think of him as weak for the rest of his life, which the demon agreed to. The demon, Marshall, possessed Henry and fixed most of his issues from there. He remains inside Henry, waiting for the day he dies so that he can take Henry's soul.
