Lia Edgewood is a very smart and pretty girl known at school, always known as a angel and a caring girl- some people afraid to talk to her due to her looks, but there is a truth behind the misleading smile. Lia's father and mother are away on some 'special Business' she doesn't know of, in the meantime she stays with her aunt who just so happens to be Lucas Sinclairs' mother. Making Lia his cousin.. ever since her parents left, she's always had the feeling.. an odd feeling about Hawkins..
She is in a popular friend group, but she is definitely not stuck up like them. She would choose to be in a different friend group but she just is afraid that she won't be accepted by anyone else. But of course, many have had their eyes on her, especially Will Byers.
