Backstory: Piper was born in to a loving family, her mother 'Lily' loved to sing and spent most of the time that she was with piper teaching her how to sing and all of the songs that she knew. Pipers father was a caring man and he would play for her and her mother when ever he got the change to but this all changed one day when piper was 9, her father had been walking home alone one night and was beaten and mugged then left to bleed out, when the police found him the broke the news to her and her mother as gently as they could and that's when piper stared to slowly close herself off, her mother would sing less and when she did sing she would cry, piper hated seeing her mother upset, a little after piper turned 13, a neighbour finally gathered the courage to tell the police that piper and her mother had been singing, the police came after a day and took piper and her mother away, her mother was burned alive and piper was forced to watch,it was on that day that her mother gave her the charm after that piper became completely closed off, she was sent to live with Jason's family since their parents had been close and since she was best friends with Jason already
