See, her older brother Jack had serious mental issues and would hit amber and yell and scream at everybody in the family, until one day he snapped, killed about three people and then himself. But nobody ever really heard about it because the finley's were quick to cover up the fact that their oldest child shot three of their staff members. So amber makes up for all of that childhood trauma by emotionally sometimes even physically bullying her classmates.

One day paris was walking home with ella, anna had stayed home due to the stomach flu, when they heard two gun shots in quick succession, then a third about a minute after the first two, all coming from their house. Fifteen year old paris told ella to stay outside while she went in to see what happened, even though deep down she already knew. Her father had finally snapped, shooting her mother then anna, then himself. Ella and Paris were put into foster care, but when they were put into an abusive group home paris took ellla and got the fuck out. She got a job working at a theater after school and does odd jobs here and there to get money. The house their family had lived in was paid off so she stays there, even though the three bedroom house houses terrible memories for her and ella, its all they have.
Other: She has severe PTSD from all the abuse and has a service dog named Wilbur or willie for short.
