Personality: She's incredibly guarded and doesn't particularly like the idea of being a selected but it is what it is right? She is really good about hiding her feelings and she really does know more than she lets on about a lot of things. She's wicked smart and clever and she doesn't take shit from people. She will no joke kick your ass if you cross lines with her and she doesn't fuck around. She loves her family, she truly does, not her step mother she's a bitch, but she'd do anything for the people she loves. She is loyal to a fault and but here's her 1st big character flaw. She comes off as perfect. She's good at a lot of things. Most things really. She can really do a lot, a jack of all trades for sure, and she wears many hats. And yeah, she may come off as a mary sue, but thats only because over the years she became really good about hiding her faults. She's got probably the biggest trust issues like literally ever. And she runs so very far from her problems. She is really good about giving you little details about herself that make you think you know her, but you really don't. Not really. *coughs* Can you tell I've had her for like 2 years now? She's been built up pretty well obviously.
Backstory: Now for those reading this who know Regina, I'm switching up her backstory just a tad to fit with the storyline a bit. She has a stepmother who abuses her now, whoop.
Regina's dad was a bit of a man whore back in the day, to say the least. He knocked up Regina's mother and she died in childbirth, giving birth to two twin girls. Rebecca was the other one. They were both given back to their father, who married another woman who wasn't the loving mother type, not that he cared to notice. He loved his girls, still does and always will, but he has a bit of a drinking problem, likes to gamble. Good thing they're quite well off I guess. Regina and Rebecca grew up inseparable, even though Tony, Their dad, quite obviously favoured Regina out of the two. She was smarter, wanted to please but wasn't a pushover either. She was always his favorite. Anyways, the stepmother hated how much more he loved Regina than her, he cared for her, always made time for Regina, never for her. So she set out to make her life a living hell. And when she found out Regina was in love with someone? A girl no less? She had her killed. Regina was devastated, and she didn't take it that well. She distanced herself from everyone, except her dad. Her dad invented things for the kingdom, and she always had a knack for that stuff, so she threw herself into the work, until the selection. She tried to kill herself after Dana died, but she was fated to survive, she always was. That was her curse. She hated the idea of having to move on, but she had to, for her family. Her little brother, who was kind unlike his wretched mother. For his baby sister, who deserved to grow up happy. For her own twin, who always deserved more than she got. For her dad, who showed her the love she needed to survive.
