There is no denying that Orchid has a rather positive demeanor. She regards most everyone with a friendly smile and enthusiastic energy. This sort of outgoingness generally carries on to a playful, adventurous attitude to her hobbies or actions in life.

Orchid wouldn't ever say she has a temper, instead declaring she aims to diffuse situations through logistics. That being said, this usually equates to a very passionate debate that she will never initiate unless she believes she can win. This usually takes quite some time to be set off, though sexist, fascist or homophobic comments generally do the trick.

Discipline has never came easy for Orchid, she prides herself on being a freeborn spirit after all. In fact, taking orders generally doesn't work well for the young woman. Just as she will most likely never ask someone to take orders on her account.

Several years of training would of course provide that Orchid is rather skilled in the makeup and fashion world. Her creativity seems to know no bounds, one of her greatest attributes. In addition, her undeniable charisma to clients is of course a major asset. Though on the other side of the same coin, Orchid has a talent for proving a point in arguments.

Being a makeup artist isn't generally the path parents imagine their child would go down. Though Orchid would never admit it, she seeks approval, where her parents provided none she looks for it in others. That isn't to say that she will walk on eggshells, but instead put forth her best effort in all things to have greater appeal.

Having such a creative and independent personality, Orchid has always wanted to travel as much as possible. Generally to ideas of foreign countries and to experience new cultures. In addition, Orchid desires to become more skillful and renowned in her position as a makeup artist.

As consequential to her weakness, Orchid is afraid of failure. Perhaps not even something as drastic as that. But the slightest mistakes always have Orchid set on edge for a rejection, and in her mind, anything such as that can constitute as failure.

Orchid has a knack for seeing beauty in practically everything. Be it fresh palettes of eyeshadow, an stick lipstick that hasn't had the angles compromised, or perhaps the way sun filters through the greens of treetops and the soft lapping of waves on a crystalline beach. If you woke her up at 3AM with the promise of Tres Leches cake, she most certainly would run to have a piece accompanied by an affogato, or even a glass of lemonade.

Despite the many things Orchid does like, some that she doesn't appeal to happen to be few but with many of it. Most notably she cannot stand board games, finding the activity banal and too predictable with the route of a roll of a dice. Otherwise Orchid happens to dislike both carrots and grapes, she can eat them but it will be under begrudging circumstances.

Orchid tries to prevent herself from being too much of a softie, though many times clients will come in with a sort of body dysmorphia that they try to mask with her art. And while she does it with a bright smile, it's painful to think of.

Her fears, depression and weakness all sort of evolve into the idea of her past failures. Her past imperfections that she finds to be tar on crisp parchment. Orchid generally isn't forgiving on herself and such thoughts will surely make her melancholic.

Being an artist in her own right, Orchid draws inspiration from many things. Though her favorite would be in nature, perhaps it's a blessing of her namesake, but flowers particularly will inspire her to emulate their beauty.

Generally Orchid is trying to spruce up her life with some sort of adventure too much so to have a hobby. Though some of her favorite routines is trying out new makeup looks, perhaps sampling that newly released palette or trying the latest setting spray. Otherwise, doting upon her many pets is a favorite.

Undoubtedly is Orchid talented in her artistry. Her ideas in colors, blending, angles and shades all manages to come together in what she regards as her own personal gallery that world sees on someone's skin.

Orchid was born the middle child of five. Their household was one of Sixs, all who wanted to move up in the world. Her mother worked as a maid and babysitter while her father as a driver, construction worker and gardener. Rarely were her parents home, instead insisting with harsh words that their children study. And while Orchid may have been dutiful, desiring to please her hardworking parents, she always found her mind beginning to stray. As young as third grade when her aunt Jisoo gave Orchid a small makeup kit is when she began to wear the glittery eyeshadows and poorly pigmented blush to school. Immediately, Orchid's parents disproved, declaring it time wasted when she could be studying or otherwise. Schoolmates rolled their eyes, sneering that Orchid was fake, trying too hard or demeaning words that seemed to only be associated with the girls. Ironically enough, such comments lead to rather severe bouts of body dysmorphia. Perhaps she would miss breakfast and lunch, eating an apple for dinner at her sister's insistence before running up to her room to study. Yet once again, when her Aunt Jisoo visited for a month it seems that she was the guardian angel. Assuring Orchid that the cruel words of her classmates were of envy or anger, that she had every right to be happy and eat a caloric content that would sustain more than a newborn. Her parent's never really became aware, instead trying to assure that Orchid would study more or otherwise maintain the image of a perfect child that her siblings molded into far too well.

Body dysmorphia isn't something that you banish once and for all. Orchid still struggled to be positive with herself throughout her teenage years and adolescent. Though, she found comfort in those same eyeshadows, lipsticks, highlights and foundations that only could be afforded for her good grades. And so Orchid dedicated herself enough to be third to valedictorian of her class of 400 students for freshman year. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. The summer after that first year Orchid was lectured at every turn, questions of why she wasn't trying hard enough and how she should aspire after her siblings. Similar self-deprecating thoughts had a tendency to wrack her mind after that. But once again, Aunt Jisoo came to the rescue.
It was quite evident that the household needed a cooldown, Orchid to be spaced from fiery quips and her parents from those frightfully high expectations. It was proposed that Orchid lived with her Aunt Jisoo for sophomore year. Considering her lack of a marriage, a girlfriend and a rather elusive occupation as a musician, it took some convincing. Though Orchid soon found that she favored living with her Aunt Jisoo over than her parents. It wasn't as though she didn't love them, or that she didn't want to be with them, simply not having to meet quotas on a daily basis was refreshing to Orchid. When it was suggested that she begin to pack her bags to move back home, however, her parents politely requested that she lived with her Aunt Jisoo for a longer period of time. Money had always been tight in the household, and currently that involved cutting expenses by sending off their middle child. It was heart wrenching, yet Orchid found herself getting through high-school between her love for makeup and support from her Aunts. When she was seventeen, Orchid was employed as a makeup artist for a popular brand company and has worked there ever since, currently holding the position of Lead Artist.
