Ito's parents were rather young when her eldest sibling was born. But, they quickly fell into the role of responsible and strict legal guardians. Their love for music was shared, making them a rather fortunate pair for an arranged marriage. This was quickly imposed upon each of Ito's siblings, before Ito herself fell into line. By the time she was four, Ito played the piano and could do a mean hot cross buns on the violin.
When Ito entered school, it was clear that Music was nearly the only thing on her mind. She did well in all of her classes, based on her parent's insistence, yet she would come home to play music for hours.

Ito had her first arranged performance when she was fourteen years old. She was maturing into her appearance as was her personality. Being with her only sister, to be singing soprano for the luxurious event, Ito figured she would be kept under a tight and protected leash. Yet after several lewd comments to the pair, Ito nearly lost it. Pulling out the sharp metal that stabilized her cello, Ito gave a warning to the latest commentator. It was safe to say, they weren't welcomed after that event.
So continued to the unfortunate pattern of Ito's performances. She would play expressively and enjoy the setting. But as soon as degrading words passed anyone's lips, it wasn't rare that she would provide an equally objectifying statement.
