Though there is a small surgical scar on her forearm from when she had developed carpal tunnel from playing her violin so much. Thea possesses a strange sort of chirpiness all the while being rather shy. She is timid, not wanting to make conversation unless it's initiated by someone else, assuming that someone else is a close friend. Though Thea remains relaxed in most activities, she is uncomfortable in a great deal of social interaction that isn't with her bandmates.

Though pretty minute, Thea has a temper. She isn't one who bottles her emotions into oblivion until Armageddon occurs, but her temper can just as well be frightening. Generally small things, like if other members don't do their chores will set her off into a fury. Though simply passive aggressive comments suffice for the majority of her irritation.

There really isn't a particular place where Thea lands on the discipline spectrum. She takes orders with a raised brow, indicating her surprise at being ordered around. Still, in most cases, Thea complies. Her self-discipline is rigorous however, but can just as easily be for things bad for her health as things good.

Strengths are pretty flippant for Thea, she has a tendency to overdo them to a point of being a weakness. Her trusting behavior is something that grants her many friends, generally being kind and going out of her way to help them. Thea is good at remaining neutral in tense situations and hearing both sides (or more) of a story, which makes her a pretty good mediator in Mythos.

Once again, Thea's strengths can just as easily become a weakness. Her trusting nature if often taken for naivety, and taken advantage of. Thea's self-discipline has lead to several bouts of body dysmorphia. Where Thea feels or felt the need to exert her control in life by monitoring every calorie that passed her lips.

Thea absolutely adores her viper, she adores being apart of Mythos and adores all the friends she has made. However, she has wanted to be a composer or a conductor. The former, being for solo pieces in which she could release her own album. The latter to be leading a renowned orchestra of only the most talented instrumentalists.

For well over half of her life, Thea has struggled with eating disorders. She is on the road to recovery, once again, but falling into a relapse is always a concern of hers. In addition, she is afraid of her father returning to jail.

Thea has an undeniably love for sweets, virtually anything sugary will become a favorite of hers. She also absolutely adores scalp massages, as in, an almost instantaneous affection will grow to whoever gives her one. She has a particular inclination to pastels, primarily a light, cotton candy blue is her room's aesthetic and generally will be the color of a hair tie or something of that sort.

Though she does her best not to let personal bias factor in, Thea does not like cops. She will generally shy away from them, if not simply glare when out of sight. Thea happens to despise taking her medication too, considering how it will make her drowsy and occasionally lightheaded.

Quite honestly, Thea has numerous soft spots. She is, in general, a softie. Everything from aesthetically appealing bakeries, to gentle cats, goofy children or her bandmates, Thea easily finds things sweet or endearing.

Though it happens in less frequent increments, Thea can quite easily become depressed at how little control she has in her life. Such thoughts can lead to obsessing over how much she eats and how it affects her figure.

Thea draws inspiration hear and then from simple things. It can be at the nice she saw in an alleyway, hearing the tuning note of her viper or playing with Pallas's hair. She focuses on bright, happy things for her inspiration that are also painfully simple.

Thea has struggled with pretty severe Body Dysmorphia since she was twelve. This has resulted in behaviors such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating in the past. She has cycled through various treatments and therapies, though there is always the concern of a relapse.

This isn't so much of a habit of Thea's as a frequent insecurity. Occasionally she grows self-conscious to the point of not wanting to eat in front of others, but not eating at all could just as easily triggered previous behaviors that have been toxic to her health. Thea has a tendency to obsess over minute details, the stress of which leaves her picking at cuticles, sometimes until they bleed.

Two years of ballet hasn't expanded Thea's skills all that much. The majority of her skills lie in the instructions from Nico, similar to the other band members. But whatever ballet moves are required for say a ballad's music video, Thea can do a turn or even an aerial with high precision.

Thea is practically terrified of social media. With every post there is the concern of dislikes, or not having enough likes, the potential of cruel comments can ruin any motivation to keep it active. The Leiers family didn't have an easy beginning paved with gold. The eldest, Perseus or nicknamed Percy, probably had the best treatment from the parents. Thea's Mom worked as an English teacher for high-school freshmen. While their Dad initially worked as a mechanic, ended up losing his job due to a lack of business. Though of course, that didn't happen until Thea was four. His new job was as a waiter, eventually rising in position but still being paid minimally. While money was tight, it didn't prevent the family of six from their interest in the arts. At her young age, Thea received a violin handed down from her Mom and soon grew a fascination with the instrument. It was the timid girl's sole focus for most all of elementary school. Life was simple. Her grades were good and she played the violin. Percy was excelling on the boy's lacrosse team. Forseti was doing just as well in playing the piano. Clymene was performing beautifully in ballet. Though when Thea was ten, her father was arrested for failing to pay a speeding ticket. It was a short jail sentence, two weeks, but it was hard for the family. Their father was the one who cooked meals and cleaned what the children didn't. To have him gone was a shock.
It just so happened that the matter leaked to the school. Soon Thea found herself at the end of many a degrading comment. Her self-esteem was waning, she refused to report it, fearing embarrassment. Crude words regarding her weight, her lightly muscled figure, how her teeth weren't perfectly white and how there existed no gap between her thighs were mentioned on a daily basis. It faded within the time her Dad got back, but then the words were existing in her head.
At first came the binge eating, it was a phase that lasted around two months, but the weight loss wasn't satisfactory to Thea. No one noticed, not really, it was subtle in her changes. Simply asking to eat in her room more often and occasionally stocking her plate high. When her Dad received a probationary on his license, anorexia ended up as an appealing alternative. What better solution to lose weight was there than not eating at all? Or, at least minimally. She only at the dinners that were mandatory, unwise considering her hours of dance and violin practice. Food was viewed as indulging with every bite until it made her stomach heavy, something that happened after eating so much as a granola bar. It was Forseti who noticed first, when a poke to the ribs ventured a little lower and exhibited the hollow of her stomach. She hated him at the time when he told the family of the foods and snacks hidden, uneaten, all across her room. But it was simply a few angry curses and a promise that she was fine.

Her final year in middle school did not look up for Thea. It was a trio of eating disorders and there was only one she had yet to take up. Bulimia didn't have as promising results as anorexia, but it did the trick. After every meal she would use the restroom, and no one could deny that she was eating. But who would imagine that Thea went to force it up to expend calories. Once again, it was Forseti who found her with a finger at the back of her throat, curled over the sink. It was painful to have the discussion with her family once again. And she received more than one dirty look from her sister. That summer, the family had saved up for Thea to attend a treatment center. Their efforts of trying to cure it independently being futile, it was an ideal option.
Clearly, something changed. Thea returned with rounded cheeks, a glowing smile and dozens of apologies. She felt guilty for the expense, for the stress. But she always found herself falling back on her violin and her writing. Ballet had to be dropped, partially due to finances and partially because of the atmosphere it set on physical appearance. Thea was charismatic in high-school, despite being timid, she had many acquaintances and friends. Her social life was above average, and at her mother's insistence her grades were too. But there were episodes, a week or so at a time when she wouldn't eat, or eat too much and too little the next day. Such relapses left her in tears, but unsurprisingly her elder brother was there to listen. It was helpful and undeniably positive for Thea. She got a job at an ice cream parlor, figuring that if she worked with food often she would grow more comfortable around it. English class fortunately wasn't taught by her Mom, but she had been put in an advanced class where she met Pallas. They bonded over their love for poetry, and inclination to music. She often gave Pallas free ice cream cones too, to assure there was someone to hangout with in the afternoons.
Entering her junior year, Thea got her five string viper. It was undeniably expensive, having paid half the cost with ice cream shoppe wages. But it was a celebration of two years since her treatment. Without any major relapses. It was easy for her to play, the only thing needing to accommodate to was the capabilities it had while electric and simulating various sounds. When she met the other future Mythos members, Thea was quick to utilize her talents in poetry and abilities with her viper. It was easy to bond with the group, but she still remains closest to Pallas through the years. When Thea was 19, just as their band was beginning to take off, her father was arrested once again, this time for driving without having a license. It was a necessity, considering how her Dad needed to work and had to drive on a regular basis. But the state didn't care as they sentenced him to a year in jail. There has looked a threat of relapse since, but it's yet to happen.
