Backstory:

Varakai wasn't always a killer, a destroyer or warmonger he had become to be known amongst the universe, infact he was the opposite. He was a historian of the Rokera Historical and Technology Institute, a company dedicated to collecting and recording lost technology and history of past civilizations and their pasts. Varakai back then, who went by another name but it was so long he heard it he completely forgotten it, was the most respected in his study of ancient weapons and terraforming

He was once a happy man, with a family, a brother and friends. He worked hard after he's time in the military, which was mandatory in their society for 4 years, but after that he dedicated his life to preserving and protecting history instead of destroying it. He use to enjoy taking with races to understand their history, culture and technology, recording them to keep them alive.

He hates insectiod races, cause well...he doesn't know which eye to look at and hates how many legs they have. So he stays far away from them and other races they are idiotic cause they keep redoing the same mistakes over and over, never learning from them. He tried to negotiate with races to establish so form of peace, but again many of them let ego and pride get in the way...he had to kill and run a lot to live.

One day, while he and the other Rokera were living their lives peacefully, he and his planet Koa was attacked by the Viltrumite Empire and Uvos, who wanted to see if the Rokera were worthy of keeping and subjugate them into his empire. But to the Viltrumite and Uvos surprise, the Rokera withheld their attacks, fighting back like a enraged tiger to defend their home and colonies

Thus began...The Rokera War

For an eon, the Rokera has battled the Viltrumites and Uvos, fighting in gorilla tactics, battles of attrition and even space combat. The Rokera with their Psionics pushed them back time and time again, for an Eon the Viltrumites had suffered more catastrophic casualties then the Scourge Virus. Uvos has tried to tell who was the strongest but he was disappointed when could life up to his standards.

Varakai, who was on the frontlines since the beginning of the war, has earned more kill than veteran warriors, more the Oka'tiza Legion in the war. As year went by he became emotionless and detached from everything, he killed in brutal ways, used tactics that gave them great success. He would visit his family and brother when he had the chance, his nephew becoming a warrior when he became of age, making him worry for his safety

At the end of the war, the Viltrumite managed to weed them down to a measly 200 people left in the capital city of the Oka'tiza clan, Oka'tizara. At the end of the war, Uvos used his abilities to bring their defenses down and let the Viltrumites destroy the remnants of the Rokera. Soon all were dead...well...one still survived due to being covered in collapsing building to save his family

After the Viltrumites, after believing they destroyed the Rokera, and Uvos, who thought he removed an obstacle in his way, left the planet of Koa. In their wake, all that was left was a dead war ravaged by an Eon of war, the planets oxygen was still breathable but hardly any patches of land could grow food and water was scarce. Varakai was the last of his people, no one, not even his family, was alive to see their world

Destroyed...ravaged...and barren. He cried for days as he buried his family, his friends and his comrades, he stood over their graves for weeks till he decided to collect all he could form their libraries, archives and restricted sections. As he didn't, he decided to read what he could and harvest all he had left, there he managed to find documents of a Terraformer called the Terraharvester

Terraharvester:

On it was a legion of robotic troops and space fighters, all automated and ran by AI. So he decided to read the manuals on how they all worked and learned how it operated and functioned. It had many, it could suck the air from a planet, harvest the biomass to transfer it into another and even absorb the magma core of necessary to restore a planets life

Varakai then dedicated his life to restoring his home world, his people and their glory and honor. So he spent a century working on the Terraharvester to use it to restore his planet and people. But he knew he would have to do many evil and terrible things to do so, if it meant he will have to destroy more worlds to do so. After he finished, he began his campaign of resurrecting his people

Arriving on Earth: (a few months after the Vanguardians appeared)

Varakai, after nearly 1,000 years of collecting technology, rare items and harvesting many worlds, mostly those taken over by the Viltrumites and others ruled under Darkseid and Thanos, making the three his mortal enemies. He came to Earth when he saw the many Hero and Villains on Earth...and was annoyed by them, they were gonna be a problem for him...probably

He commited his first strikes on the militaries and organizations of the Heros and Villains, not caring about the damages he creates. He came on planet to harvest the technology and the planets oxygen and soil to transfer to his world. There he ran into the..."Heros" of Union, he hardly called them that, more like delinquents with ridiculous visions of grandeur and egos the size of a black hole

He beaten them with little to no effort, hardly using 1% of his power to kill or beat them into submission. And those from Legion were actually difficult to handle making him use more then 20%, making him actually enjoy a challenge. But for some reason, he ran into a girl who for some reason made his heart stop and make him feel something he hasn't in nearly 2 Eons, and that was love

And that women was...Ikaruga

He couldn't help but admire her beauty and skill with a sword, and her body, he couldn't stop staring at her amazing figure. He would be unable to fight her cause he would be distracted by her beauty, he even liked fighting her, seeing her fight reminded him of the warriors of Oka'tiza. He even had to admit, she would have been a great Rokera warrior!

One day, when he opted to explore the planet and see what history it holds, which he was annoyed cause most of it didn't make sense and was limited. He would rant to many historians and librarians that were acting like idiots, it got so bad Ikargu, who was looking for books, had to clam him down. Thus making the two finally meet face to face

And thus began a new love!!

At first it was small meet ups to go over history and other things, but as they got to know each other, Varakai started to feel anger when she started to explain her relationship with her step-brother. So one time after their..."hangouts", he went o his residence and how do you say it?

He put the fear of God and the Devil in him, and if he ever hurts or insults Ikaruga, he will find him and pull him piece by piece with his psionics and make his death the most slowest one ever to be recorded ever!

So after that, Varakai went on his goal of saving his world.

For he is no hero or villain, just a man on a mission to save his people.
