Background:

Elijah was born in the slums of Union, where the Powerless population resided due to the mass discrimination and segregation in placed. Elijah grew up doing whatever it took to survive in the slums, fighting, savaging and killing to get food. He would be abused by students of Union growing up, as they came to the slums and bullied, knowing they won't get in trouble

Due to the high discrimination and segregation, Powerless were treated as second class citizens, so if anything happened to them, the officials would push them to the aside and ignore them. And they focus more on the Powered, if they so much as even asked for one to bow they do it, as the officials pushed Powered policies more then the common necessities for very day life

When Imperion was discovered, it was just labeled as mining land to harvest the new mineral called Combatite, a highly powerful resource able to power an Atlas Airship for 100 years. Soon the local industries in Union outright claimed it for the own, without notifying anyone or telling anyone because they believed they deserved it, like spoiled and entitled brats

Soon most of the Powerless population was forced there to mine the new mineral, being exposed to more cruel treatment then they've known. Long work hours, denied basic hygiene and necessities, abused for even taking a small break, denied food and water for long periods of time.

Then came the inhumane treatment, kids were forced to work the moment they can walk, boys forced to please the female officers and males kidnapping and violating the females and killing them. Elijah seen this all and it broke him, he almost committed suicide if it wasn't for a man who saved him, this man who soon be known as the leader of the Revolution

Cain Bloodstone, a man who stood up against the Union industries that force these barbarism and injustice law on the powerless population. Cain saved Elijah, who looked up to Cain as a father figure, since his brith parents died due to illness. Cain gladly the role of father for him, as he taught him all the politics he needed to know to use against the opposition against them

Soon the Powerless in secret build up weapons, technology and other supplies to revolt against their oppressors. Soon with their ragtag forces, they used guerrilla warfare and attrition battles to win against them. It was easy since they didn't face a well coordinated defense, given their hubris and ego, not believing that a couple of worthless Powerless retards can win

This was known to the first offensive movement from the Reformist Party of Imperion

They were proven wrong when they forced the Union forces out, which was easy given they use their brains more than them. After a few months, they declared independence from Union, forming a capital named Imperium Prime in the center of their land. Soon the Reformist Party became the Republic of Imerpion, the ruling body of the land

So after they, they put massive restrictions and sanctions on any Union goods, or straight out banned anything going to or from Union. They mainly traded with Drakoina and the Twisting Realms, which they had a friendly relationship with, given as some helped them be free from Union control. Mostly free contractors, mercs and PMCs willing to work with them

Elijah was made Master Sergeant after the end of the Imperion Freedom War, and now he is working at the frontlines in case Union or anyone got any ideas to try and invade them, which would be meet with greater force. Elijah wants to be a writer, to make the war he and his squad fought in a book so others may know they struggle in the dark times

He doesn't want pity or make feel bad about them, he just wants them to know the lives, stories and the actions of the heros who fought in the war. He would beat anyone who called the men he served with monsters cause they fought for the freedom of their people and the generations to come. He wants to soon retire and have a family, one he can see grow up happy and free
