Ivy's POV

I kept walking away.I didnt want them to see me cause i was always very careful around strangers.Why?Its a long story that I dont want to talk about or remember.

Just as I sat down I heard a voice."Hello?"Tge voice asked.I looked behind me and saw a brownish bulldog with a little bit of white fur.He had brown eyes and had on a yellow construction uniform on."H-H-Hi."I stuttered for two reasons.

One reason was cause he looked soo cute.And the last one was because i was scared so i started backing up."Dont worry.We wont hurt you."He said.

I stopped and didnt move...although I was shaking.He realized and put on a heart warming smile."Hey...dont worry your safe.We just want to help beacause we were told you were trapped in a rock slide."He said.

"W-well may I ask,whats your name?"I asked."Rubble,im Rubble whats your name?"He asked.I stopped shaking and started walking towards him.ugghh stupid me always way too trusting.

"I-Ivy."I said."Pretty name.Well we will help you find your family.A cute girl like you doesnt deserve to be lost."He said.I blushed.

Rubbles POV

I realized what I just said and blushed.Really Rubble?She frowned after blushing."Whats wrong?"I ask."I-I dont have any parents."She said."I lost them."She added.

"Oh no im so sorry...I di..."I was interrupted."No its ok..ive been this way for years and i dont have an owner...anymore."She said."Wait...what do you mean not anymore?"I ask.

She sighed."I..I..oh ill just tel you...i ran away."She said."Wait what?Whos your owner we gotta get you back."I said."No!"She shouted.

"You cant take me back.I dont know if you know him but his name is Mayor Humdinger...hes super abusive to me.Althogh he has kittens but he doesnt treat them bad!"She said.

"Wait...Mayor Humdinger is your owner?!We cant let you go back.Hold on.Ryder!!!!"I shout running.I was worried for Ivy.I kept wondering why
I saw soars and scars on her and now I know.

I heard her running behind me and yelping.I look back and see her limping."Ryder."I call at my pup tag.

"Rubble.You ok?"Ryder asked."Yea.I found the pup.Her name is Ivy but shes limping."I say."Ok were coming."Ryder said.

Minutes passed and they arrive."Marshall check her out."Ryder said.
Marshall barked out his xray and checked it out."Sprained paw."He said."We need to take her to her owner."Ryder said.

He went to grab her but i jumped in front."We cant."I say."What?There probably worried though."He said."No i wont let you!"I shout.She yelps when i yell.

"Sorry."I say."Why?"He said."Her owner is Mayor Humdinger and he abuses her."I say.I look to see a collar on her.I ask her permission for the collar.

She hesitates but hands it to me.I show him the tag that said Mayor Huminger and the number for proof."Oh no we cant.You can stay with us Ivy."He said.

"O-ok."She said.
