2) The Burrow
⚠TW: Cussing, talk of past abusive household & past abuse in general⚠
"I WIN! Ha! That's three times in a row!" Ginny stated proudly as she caught the Golden Snitch for the fifth time today.
"Oh, you just got lucky!" Ron countered with a huff, being in last place of their little competition.
Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, and Harry have been playing catch the Snitch all day long together to pass the time till they had to leave for Hogwarts, well all of them but Fred and George; who were taking a small break before going back to work at their joke shop.
Ron had won once, Fred twice, George three times, Ginny three times, and Harry four times. Ginny happened to win her three all back to back where as the others were spread out throughout the day.
"Alright, everyone! Come down and get supper!" Molly called up to everyone in the air making them all fly down quickly, eager to eat.
They all rest their brooms outside against the wall of the house before coming inside and washing their hands.
Ron and Ginny helped set the table while Molly put everything onto different plates for them all to get what they wanted off of.
Eventually, the table was set and everyone sat down together at the table.
Everyone thanked Molly for the food before they began eating.
"So are you all ready to get back to Hogwarts to finally finish your final year there in a few days?" Arthur asked Ron, Ginny, and Harry making Harry choke on his chicken.
They all had very mixed emotions about returning to Hogwarts. They all hated the horrid memories of the war, so many students' lives lost.
But at the same time, they wanted to get the rest of their education and stay out of the adult world for a little longer.
"I think I can speak for us all when I say we have mixed emotions but overall, yes I'd say we're ready to go back," Ginny said as Ron tried to help Harry from choking by patting him on the back.
Harry waved him off and caught his breath, his face red with an embarrassed blush.
"Well, that's good then," Arthur said with a smile as Molly looked at him like he had lost his mind.
The kids were clearly stressed about going back! How could he not see that?! Then again it was Arthur so there is that.
"How about you two, how is the shop going?" Arthur asked Fred and George, turning his attention to them.
"It's going very well." Fred began before taking a bite of his food.
"Sales keep getting better every day." George finished before giving their dad a smile and taking a sip of his drink.
"That's wonderful!" Arthur said with a large grin of his own.
They all continued to talk about random things until they were done with their dinner.
After that they all went their own ways, Fred and George going to their bedroom to think up even more pranking devices to sell while Molly and Arthur cleaned up the table, Ginny went to her room, and Harry and Ron went to their room.
Harry had moved in with the Weasleys after the war because the Dursleys had left and weren't coming back. Not that he would have moved back in with them, but he loathed them with a passion after all of the abuse they put him through when he was younger.
The Weasleys invited him in with open arms and many bear hugs, they all loved Harry and had mostly adopted him the first time they met him. So now having him living with them was like he was truly a part of the family.
He and Ginny broke it off right after the war as well, partly because of that reason; they each saw the other as more of a sibling than anything romantic, but also because Harry figured out that he was bisexual with a heavy preference for men.
Everyone in the Burrow accepted him for who he was, stating that they would love him no matter what he was or did.
"Hey mate, how do you really feel about going back to Hogwarts?" Ron asked Harry as they sat across from each other on their own beds.
Harry didn't respond right away, he let himself think about his answer before giving any sort of response.
"I feel nervous, anxious, sad, and happy all at the same time. I'm sad at all of the deaths of the students who fought in the war and didn't make it. I'm anxious and nervous about how people will react to seeing us after all that happened. But I'm also happy that we get to go back and don't have to deal with Voldemort for once and can try our best to have a normal year at school." Harry replied honestly getting a nod of agreement from Ron.
"I feel the same, I'm also excited to see everyone else for longer than just a day. I miss the budgers." Ron smiled making Harry laugh and agree.
They continued to talk about what they thought Hogwarts was going to be like this year until it was late and they fell asleep.
~☆~
The next day flew by and sooner than the three were ready, it was time to go back to Hogwarts.
They all got into the new flying car before heading to Kings Cross Station.
~☆~
Once they got there they all got out of the car and ran through the pillar after making sure that no Muggles were watching.
Once they were on the platform Molly, Arthur, Fred, and George hugged the three goodbyes before watching them walk to the train.
Before they could get onto the train, however, they were swarmed by a massive group of wizards.
"You're Harry Potter!"
"Can I have an autograph?!"
"Did you really survive death twice?!"
It seemed like people were asking questions at a million miles an hour making Harry's head swirl.
"Oi! Shove off! Can't you see that he doesn't want all of this attention?!" A voice yelled through the crowd making Harry, Ron, and Ginny's heads all snap toward it.
"Come on you three, we need to get onto the train before it departs," Hermione said as she grabbed Harry and Ron's hands, dragging them to the train.
"Wait! Is it true that you defeated He Who Shall Not Be Named all by yourself?" An older wizard man asked making Hermione, Ron, and Ginny all glare at him.
"Absolutely not, the entirety of Hogwarts helped me; professors and students alike. I couldn't have done anything without these two especially. Same with Ginny here, she kept everyone in line at Hogwarts while we went and found what we needed to find." Harry stated, trying his best to not glare at the man himself.
The man stood there stunned for a second as they began to walk away before Harry stopped and turned to him again.
"Oh and by the way, his name is Voldemort and he's dead. There is no point in giving power to something that no longer needs it." He said with a straight face before boarding the train with the others, leaving the man and everyone else who heard the conversation stunned.
After a second the small crowd cheered making Harry roll his eyes at them, not that they could see anyway.
The three of them made it into a compartment that held nothing but familiar faces quickly, doing their best to stay away from all of the first years who wanted to talk about Harry just as the adults had.
"Welcome everyone!" A cheery voice treated them as soon as they opened the compartment door making them all smile at it.
