(y'all I'm so hyped writing this)

    Jeremy helped you and after a while you look at the creature and he looks happier than before. You thank Jeremy and take the creature's hand and bring him up the stairs that have gold railings and marble steps. You lead him to your room. You wanted to show him your bedroom. You push open the giant door with your free hand. You let go of the creature as you search for the light switch in the dark. You keep hitting the wall trying to find it but finally you feel it and you turn on the light. The giant room lights up to show the bed on one side and a sitting area on the other side with a fire place in front of it. You weren't allowed to touch the fire place as you were only 10. And against the wall with the giant windows there is an office type area where you would keep all the stuff for your hobbies. The room was pretty with gold pillars where the edges of the walls would meet and it was vines of gold,silver and blue flowers from pillar to pillar. And the floor had this huge circle in the middle with all these shapes on it and the colors faded from green to blue to pink to purple. The room had a closet by the bed, that half of the room was like a normal bedroom but fancy, the other half was like a front room with extra space. You turn around to see if the creature was still there and he was. He looks around the room and you take his hand and give him a tour of the room. Showing all the little drawings of birds and trees on the wall that you drew when you were bored. All the fancy little lines on the closet doors and the bed had poles in them which held up a frame with curtains on it. You climb into the giant bed and you pat the side towards him and he sits on the spot. You close the curtains and push the little button that's on the side of the head board and little lights turn on, fairy lights. You grab the controller for the lights out if a pillow and you push a button and they turn orange and then you give him the remote. He pokes a button and the lights turn teal. He pokes all the buttons to see all the lights colors. You get excited and start jumping around on the bed and your bed is very bouncy so it has a trampoline effect so you start jumping by the creature and he ends up bouncing around and you are laughing so hard that you end up crying at one point.

       There is a knock on your door and you stop drawing from the little office area and you walk to the door. You open it more to see who it is and it's your dad. You open the door more so he can get in and you say "Hi dad!!" He looks at you smiling but then looks around the room as if he's looking for something, he sees the creature. He walks to it very slowly as if it was going to kill him instantly. You follow your dad and walk just as slow as him but all dramatically as if mocking him. Your dad stands about 5 feet from the creature and observes him. All the creature was doing was looking at the drawings that you drew. He looks at all the supplies and everything else from your other hobbies. He then suddenly turns his head to your dad and your dad jumps out of fear and you laugh. Why would your dad be scared from such a beautiful creature? Maybe your dad was just silly or maybe he was upset that the creature was taller than him. You go up to your dad and ask "why are you so scared?" And your dad is still looking at the creature with a terrified face like he is going to be eaten. You turn around and see the creature is looking at the drawings again. Maybe your dad was messing with you, you look back at your dad and he says that he came in to tell you that you have to take a bath. Your eyes widen and you look all excited and you say "can he take a bath too??" As you point at the creature. Your dad looks at you with this face but you don't know what it means. He says "that's up to him, I know nothing about his kind". You ask "then why did you get him?" "Because I wanted to get you a protector and the website said he was perfect" you look at your dad like he's dumb. Why would he get something that he has no control over and know nothing about. Your dad walks out of the room and you walk back to the table. You keep drawing what ever you were drawing before but you ask the creature "do you want a bath? They put tons of bubbles in the tub" you turn to your side and see him sitting next to you and he has his head resting on the table. You poke his shoulder and he looks at you. You ask "what ya doing?" And he responds "nothing". You are shocked, you thought he couldn't talk. It must have been obvious that you were shocked because he is now laughing. "Since when did you talk?!??" After a second he responds "as long as I've been alive". You were shoocketh.

       An hour has passed, you look at the little clock in the table and it is 7:21 pm. There's another knock on the door and you walk to it and open the door to see one of the maids. You say "hiii".  "Hi miss, your dad wanted me to tell you that you are late to your bath" she says. You forgot about the bath, how could you forget about the bath??? You look a the lady and smile, you then close the door and run around in circles and jump onto your bed. You roll over to the other side where the closet is and open the door and walk into the closet. You look at the pajamas and you see a pair with cats on the top shelf but you can't reach it. You run out the closet and to the creature who is still looking at all the supplies and random objects in boxes. You tug the fur on his leg and he looks down at you. " Can you help me get the pajamas off the top shelf?? There are kitties on them and I NEEEEED them or I will explode into confetti 😟". He laughs and you drag him to the closet and point to them all the way at the top. He grabs them and hands them to you. "Thank you!!! Now I won't explode into confetti!!" You say as you run out of the closet and run out the room and into the closest bathroom.

*One bath later*

    You walk back to the room with nice clean hair and clothes. You open the door and see your bed was made perfectly. The maids don't come today though, they come tomorrow. You walk over to the office area and see that everything was organized. The table and boxes have never been this clean before and there were no paint stains on the table anymore and no holes or uneven edges. The boxes were nicely organized. This is crazy. The closest looked all clean too, you walk over to it and close the doors. You turn back around and walk to the sitting area and there is the creature sitting in the chair

      He was staring at the fire place until you walked up to him and he looked at you. The chairs were huge but they looked small for him. You look at him and ask "did you clean the room?" "Yes" he responds. You smile so big and say "thank youuuuuuuu". He smiles back and then he picks you up and puts you on his lap and opens a book and starts reading it to you. You're about to fall asleep but then you remember something, you look up at him and ask "what's your name?" "Shadow". You fall asleep.
