Taken Freedom

A small warning of kidnap and mention of drugs. Please read at your own risk~♡
___________________________________

Taehyung hated his enemies with a passion. A passion that had him using the ones he loved to destroy his enemies. And he was in too deep to stop now. He was now after the informant of his most hated enemy. He’d caught the bastard stealing the new drug he’d worked day in and day out on for the past few weeks. He glared at one of his subordinates, angry that they’d let him escape in the first place. “Well, don’t just stand there! After him,” he shouted, pointing in the direction that Jungkook had taken off.

Yoongi was walking home from school, sighing to himself. He had searched for his brother but couldn’t find the younger male. He wondered what Jungkook was up to at the moment because he knew their parents weren’t happy with what he was doing. He sighed softly to himself as he walked down the street, staring at the ground for a moment. He was holding his favorite book and happily began reading as he made his way home. He could hear a commotion that had him looking up, but whatever the noise was it wasn’t near him.

Jungkook kept looking behind him, running with the information and drug he’d taken from Taehyung and his gang. But he couldn’t run fast enough it seemed as he tried to keep away from them. They were still close behind him as he quickly turned a corner and ran straight into someone.

Yoongi groaned as he collided with some random person, falling to the ground with his book lying beside him. He looked up pissed, ready to scream at the person until he realized it was his younger brother. Jungkook quickly got up from his hands and knees, realizing it was his older brother. He yanked Yoongi to his feet, realizing he’d found his way near their home and that he needed to lead Taehyung's men away from their home. He didn’t want to put Yoongi or the rest of his family in danger. “Yoongi! Come on,” he shouted, dragging Yoongi with him now.

Yoongi was wondering why they were having to run until he looked behind him to see people chasing them. “What the hell is going on, Jungkook?! What have you done?” he cried as he allowed the younger male to drag him along. Jungkook shook his head, refusing to answer Yoongi’s question. He’d been warned by Namjoon before to never let his older brother know what he was up to. He didn’t need Jungkook's family worrying about him, although he was sure that they had an idea of what he did every day. Jungkook knew he’d be scolded by not only Yoongi but the man that kept him under his thumb. And he couldn’t afford to make Namjoon angry. There were so many things at stake if he were to make his leader angry.

He couldn’t afford to get caught either, especially now that he’d dragged his older brother into this mess. “Just keep close and try not to get caught,” he instructed, pulling out a gun. He looked behind them and aimed for one of the guys chasing them. Yoongi could see him squeezing the trigger, and panicked as he shoved the gun upwards. A loud gunshot echoed throughout the silent air as he realized they were right behind them now.

Taehyung stood several miles away, slowly making his way down the path that his men had told him to follow. Although Jungkook was one of his enemies, he wasn’t about to chase him down himself. That was too much work, especially since he’d had maybe four hours of sleep that week. He had other people to do that dirty work for him anyway. “They better catch him this time,” he muttered to himself, glowering as he walked. Last time they’d lost him and let him get away with their plans to sell to the outskirts of town. Hoseok had not liked that when he was informed, causing Taehyung a lot of grief and making it up to Hoseok. Taehyung had lost that to his rival, who used that information to their advantage and took control of that area before Taehyung even had a chance.

Yoongi glared at the back of Jungkook’s head, both of them still running. He was beyond pissed at the younger male for getting him caught in whatever mess he’d gotten himself into. “Jungkook, do you mind explaining to me what the fuck is going on here?! Why are you being chased and why’d you drag me into it?! Answer me,” he shouted, growing angrier by the second.

Namjoon and Jungkook were always getting into trouble at school, and causing problems at their homes as well. Their parents didn’t know what to do with Jungkook. They’d tried grounding him, taking away his phone and laptop, but nothing seemed to work with correcting his rebellious behavior.

Yoongi couldn’t continue to run anymore though, slowing down a bit. He wasn’t the athletic type at all and he needed to stop for a moment to breathe, causing Jungkook to slow down. He only slowed down a little bit, forcing Yoongi to continue to keep running as they still held onto each other's hand. But Yoongi shook his head, his legs and lungs were hurting too much for him to continue. “We can’t slow down or we’ll—”

His sentence was cut short by the man that had finally caught up to them. He grabbed Yoongi’s shoulder as he roughly slammed him to the ground and pinned his hands behind his back. “Hey, be careful with them,” Yoongi heard one male call out as another man tackled Jungkook to the ground. Yoongi saw a young man with reddish-brown hair approach the other that had his knee in Yoongi’s back. “We have to be gentle with the one who wasn’t really involved in this matter until Taehyung decides what to do with him,” he stated, pushing the other guy away from Yoongi.

Before Yoongi could stand up to run off, the amber brown-haired male helped him to his feet while holding his wrists firmly behind his back. He couldn’t let Yoongi go, but he could be gentler with the frail male than the other guys.

They stayed there for a while, waiting on Taehyung to get there. When he finally did arrive, he noticed a second person was being restrained. Taehyung tilted his head, wondering if he’d saw a second person inside his room when he’d caught Jungkook stealing from him. He looked at Jimin, who was restraining Yoongi and smiled. He walked closer to them, glancing down at Yoongi and grabbing the fragile male’s chin. "Oh? And who’s this that we’ve seemed to pick up?”

Yoongi winced, trying to escape Taehyung’s harsh grip on his chin. “Let go! You’re hurting me,” he cried, his eyes searching for anyone who’d help them. He tried to pull his chin away glaring into Taehyung’s eyes. “Jungkook, what the fuck is going on?” he spit in Taehyung’s face, glancing toward Jungkook. Taehyung let go of Yoongi’s chin, stepping back, repulsed that he had someone else’s saliva on his face. But Taehyung was even more repulsed by one of his subordinate’s actions, having heard of how he treated this new captive through the walkie-talkie on Jimin's hip, and he grabbed the man’s wrist roughly. “Put your knee in another one of our captive's back like that, and I’ll have your head, understand?” he asked, menacingly.

The man nodded as Taehyung dropped his wrist, approaching the smaller male again. He stared down at him once more, meeting eyes with Yoongi. “Oh, you know our little snitch?” he asked, honestly curious about Jungkook’s relationship to Yoongi. He smiled quite evilly as he glanced back toward the man that had Jungkook’s face shoved into the pavement. “Taze him,” he instructed, seriously. “Take them both.”

Jimin was gentle with Yoongi as he held both his arms behind his back. But he didn’t shield Yoongi’s eyes as they watched Jungkook being tazed until he was unconscious. Yoongi glanced over at Taehyung, shivering in disgust at the evil look on the male’s face. He was confused at what Taehyung had been talking about with Jungkook being a snitch. “What… snitch?!”

His eyes went wide with shock as he was forced to watch Jungkook slowly fade into unconsciousness. He couldn’t believe what was happening as he tried to free himself from Jimin’s grip. “No, stop! You’re hurting him,” he cried, pulling away from Jimin’s tight hold. But it hurt him more than he thought as he still wasn’t getting free. His eyes watered as he watched his younger brother still being tazed. He shut his eyes tight, letting a choked sound escape his throat. He opened his eyes after the electric sound stopped echoing through the silent and heavy atmosphere that hung around them like acrid smoke. He stared at his unconscious brother, just before they were both carried away.

Not caring whether they were gentle or not, Taehyung demanded that they carry the two captives back to his hideaway. He was pissed at Jungkook but definitely curious about the other one. But he didn’t quite show it either. “Don’t hurt the one we picked up though. We don’t know what his role in this operation is yet,” he stated, surveying the area they’d occupied. He needed to make sure that there were no traces of any gang involvement there. He didn’t need the cops beating down his door again, demanding they speak to the person in charge of the house.

Taehyung walked back towards their building, following shortly after his men. He sighed, feeling somewhat bad for the smaller male that had gotten involved. It wasn’t his intention to involve a lot of people that weren’t originally involved. He walked through the gate, their hideaway not too far from them now. He slammed the gate shut behind him, encircled the chain around the iron rods, and padlocked everyone out. If anyone else wanted in now, they’d have to scale that tall iron fence. And they’d then have a difficult time getting past the spikes at the tip of each iron bar. He looked up, admiring the black fence that had once cut his rival up. It had served him right.

He walked into the building, shutting the door behind him. Jimin still held Yoongi in a gentle yet firm grip, facing Taehyung. But Taehyung’s first priority was dealing with Jungkook. He walked over to the unconscious boy, lifting his head in the palm of his hand. “Too bad he works for the other team. He’s good at what he does,” he admitted, turning Jungkook’s head. He admired the younger male’s features with a dark smile. “And he’s handsome too,” he stated, turning his attention toward Yoongi now. “And who might this lovely little creature be?”

Yoongi stared at the unconscious Jungkook, shaking his head in disappointment at him. What has he gotten them into? And what has Namjoon done to get Jungkook into this mess? he wondered, terrified. He was disappointed in Jungkook and Namjoon. After everything that has happened at home, he would have thought that Jungkook would try not to get into any more trouble, but he was wrong.

Yoongi looked up into Taehyung’s eyes. He knew he had to be at least close to Jungkook’s age, which was disgusting that someone this young had kidnapped them. “Other team?” he wondered aloud, even more confused now. He glared at Taehyung, not saying a word about his name. He wanted to ignore the man before him and break free of Jimin’s hold. But he was too weak to do so. “Who are you?! Why are you doing this to us?!”

Taehyung stared at the smaller male and smiled, quite intrigued by him. He obviously knew the smaller male had an attachment to Jungkook in some way. But what are they to each other? He continued to stare at Yoongi, waving Jimin away from him. Jimin gave Taehyung a worried glance. He knew the younger male was far too tired to defend himself if Yoongi had tried anything. He reluctantly let go of Yoongi’s wrists as instructed.

Taehyung noticed Jimin’s worried glance and smiled. “I'll be fine. Don’t worry, he can’t leave,” he stated, smiling wickedly now. He had fun playing games with people who thought they could pull one over on him, just because he was younger than most people in this profession. “I asked you a question first. I don’t answer questions when mine haven’t been answered,” he stated, rather annoyed as he squatted down in front of Yoongi.

Yoongi had been close to Jungkook when they were younger but as they’d grown up, they grew further apart. Jungkook had been hanging out with people he shouldn’t have been, getting into trouble, and causing problems at home. And it hurt him to see his brother and his friends do this to themselves. Ruining their lives for whatever reason.

He let out a soft sigh once his hands were free, rubbing his wrists. He scoffed at Taehyung’s words, glaring into his eyes again. He would find a way out of here no matter how long it took him. “Well, too bad your question isn’t going to be answered,” he announced, locking eyes with Taehyung. He crossed his arms over his chest and frowned as he slowly rose to his feet. “You can get into trouble you know… doing this. Kidnapping us,” he stated, trying to act tough. On the inside though, he was a panicked mess, scared and on the verge of tears and breaking down.

Taehyung laughed though, studying the smaller male in front of him as he rose to his feet as well. “I guess your question won’t be answered either then,” he stated, smirking. “But I can always torture the answer out of him,” he stated, pointing to Jungkook. “If you think I’m playing, try me.”

He smirked, knowing this male before him wouldn’t let that happen. He’d studied people for a long time, long enough to know when he could trap someone by using another person against them. He laughed again, smiling normally for a change before it turned dark again. “Do you think I’m afraid of getting into trouble? If I was afraid of trouble, I wouldn’t have entered the profession I’m currently in, now would I?”

He studied Yoongi once more. He had a fascination with the petite male at that moment, and it only made him want to act more menacing toward the scared male. He hated being attached to anyone or anything for too long because it was always ripped away. Just like his parent’s lives were ripped away from him when he was younger. He would never let someone get that close to him again.

Yoongi glanced down at his unconscious brother. He wasn’t about to let them hurt his baby brother once again. And he knew for a fact that Taehyung would torture Jungkook. Jungkook had already been tazed, he couldn’t take the chance. Yoongi bit down on his lip, shutting his eyes tightly before opening them again. “Well, if you must know...” he let out another soft sigh before speaking up again. He was going to regret telling this man who he was. “He’s my younger brother.”

He kept his head down, not saying another word. He had already figured out that the young male in front of him was a gang member, and most likely the leader. Which meant Jungkook was a part of some other gang or something along those lines. “Of course you wouldn’t have…” he answered Taehyung's previous question about trouble.

He stepped back though, hating how Taehyung was staring at him. He was always being stared at wherever he went, which he didn’t understand. He didn’t think he was pretty or handsome in any way. But Taehyung's eyes bore holes into his skin, and he didn't like the lecherous gaze from him either.

Taehyung smiled at the thought of Jungkook being this smaller male's younger brother and being someone the other male cared deeply about. “That works perfectly,” he stated, walking toward the other guy holding Jungkook. He looked at Jimin, gesturing toward Yoongi. “You know where to take him,” he instructed, walking closer to Jungkook. He lifted Jungkook’s head in his hand once again, before backhanding him across the face. Jungkook whined softly, fidgeting slightly before blinking his eyes open. “I see that you’re finally awake,” he stated, pointing toward Jimin and Yoongi. “You see that? I’m not afraid to use your older brother against you,” he stated, menacingly. “Give me back the item that you stole from me, and your brother might be okay tomorrow,” he chuckled.

“Might, being the keyword. It depends on how well you cooperate with me now. And it depends on how well he cooperates,” he whispered, looking back at Yoongi. “Now, what’s his name?”

Yoongi regretted his words before he said them, but even more so now as Taehyung threatened them. Now, they would be used against his brother too and he knew they would torture him if Jungkook didn’t do as they asked. He hoped Taehyung wouldn’t allow them to do anything to him or Jungkook. “Take me where?” he cried, stepping away from Jimin. He didn’t want to be in the male’s tight hold again.

He let out a soft sigh seeing that Jungkook was awake though and as okay as a person who’s been tazed could be. “Jungkook… just give him what he wants, please,” he pleaded, quietly. Jimin rolled his eyes at Yoongi, grabbing his wrists and holding them tightly behind his back again. “Stay still and don’t move. Or else,” he whispered in Yoongi’s ear. He hated to be mean to the delicate male, but he couldn’t afford to appear weak either.

Taehyung glanced over at Jimin and Yoongi briefly, when Yoongi had cried out towards them. He wasn’t really paying them much attention as he looked back over at Jungkook. He held his hand out with a smile, hoping Jungkook would do as he was asked. Jungkook glared into Taehyung’s eyes. “I can’t hand it over! I’ll get into trouble with my superior,” he cried, wanting to give Taehyung what he’d stolen from him. But he didn’t want trouble with Namjoon either.

Taehyung smirked at Jungkook’s answer, waving Jimin over with Yoongi. Jimin did as instructed, hoping Taehyung wouldn’t hurt Yoongi. Taehyung grabbed Yoongi roughly by his chin and pulled Yoongi’s face close to his own, staring Jungkook in the eyes. “Are you sure you don’t want to hand it over?” he asked, smirking. He held Yoongi’s face tightly in his grip, but not hard enough to bruise the skin. He definitely didn’t want to bruise that beautiful porcelain skin of his. “I’ve kind of taken a liking to him,” he whispered, turning Yoongi’s head to the side. “I’ve asked before, don’t make me ask again. What is your name? Someone better fucking tell me,” he stated, aggressively.

Yoongi didn’t think his doubts would come true. How could he think Jungkook would hand over whatever it was that this crazed man wanted? He sighed heavily when Jungkook had said no and didn’t hand over anything. He couldn’t believe Jungkook right now. He was certainly terrified of what was going to happen to him now. “Jungkook, please give it to him!”

He tried pulling away from Jimin’s tight hold yet again, struggling to get closer to Jungkook and beg if he had to. “Is getting in trouble with your superior more important than my safety?! What would mom and dad think of you then?” he shouted, terrified. Jungkook’s eyes widened at the realization of the predicament that they were in. If he followed through with his orders, what would become of Yoongi? His dearest older brother. But if he didn’t follow through, Namjoon would have his head for this one.

Yoongi struggled still as Jimin tightened his hold and pushed him forward, closer to Taehyung. Yoongi winced as Taehyung pulled forcefully on his chin, trying to control the struggling male. He locked eyes with Taehyung’s fierce gaze and instantly quit struggling against the two males holding him. Yoongi was terrified of what was to happen if Jungkook didn’t do as they asked. Afraid for both of their safety, Yoongi lowered his head. “Please… just hand it over Jungkook,” he spoke softly, hoping Jungkook would listen. He shivered, feeling Taehyung’s hot breath against his skin. He didn’t like the way that he was talking about him, and he certainly didn’t want to know what he was going to do with him but Taehyung had wanted an answer to his question as well. And there was no telling what this man was capable of right now. “It’s Yoongi… my name is Yoongi,” he breathed out, not liking the menacing tone in Taehyung’s words.

Taehyung smiled pleasantly as he ruffled Yoongi’s hair. “Now, isn’t he being a good boy?” he stated, glancing back over at Jungkook. “Are you going to be a good boy too and hand it over? Or am I going to have to make you hand it over?” he asked, menacingly. He was still holding Yoongi’s chin between his thumb and forefinger, squeezing even harder on the skin. Yoongi cried out in pain as Taehyung smirked smugly at Jungkook. “He’s awfully pretty. I’d hate to hurt that pretty face of his,” he stated, chuckling darkly. “Don’t test me…”

Jungkook still stared at Taehyung’s dark gaze before glancing at Yoongi. “But you leave me no choice,” Taehyung stated, pulling Yoongi’s face even closer. “Stop,” Jungkook cried out, holding his hand out to Taehyung. Taehyung smiled as he forcefully opened Jungkook’s hand to see the little bag of crystalline powder he’d been working on.

He sighed with relief, smiling as he ruffled Jungkook’s hair. He yanked the bag from Jungkook’s hand and stood up, letting go of Yoongi’s chin. “Take them to separate rooms,” he demanded, waving the guys away from him. He had what he was looking for, he had the snitch, and his brother at that. He had everything he was really looking for, but he wanted something else now too. Something he was missing and he was going to figure it out.

Yoongi bit his tongue, feeling disgusted by all of Taehyung’s words. He didn’t want to say anything that would get them into even more trouble. But when Taehyung demanded they be brought to separate rooms, Yoongi couldn’t bite his tongue anymore. “What? I thought… Let us go,” he screamed as Jimin pulled him away. He was dragged down a hallway, no matter how much he fought and eventually he was shoved into a random room.

Yoongi quickly ran to the door as it was slammed shut, and beat against the hard oak with closed fists. He couldn’t help the tears that streamed down his cheeks as he tried to find a way out of the room. But there were no windows within those four bland walls. There wasn’t even any furniture besides a bed that didn’t even have any sheets on it. Yoongi slid down the door, huddling with his knees pulled up to his chest. He buried his face in his legs as he began to sob heavily.

Taehyung sighed as he made his way down the hallway towards his room, which was away from all the other rooms. He walked into his room, tossing the bag onto his desk corner. Having to deal with those two separately would be a headache, but using them against each other was definitely a lot easier. He figured that was what he needed to do from now on. He pinched the bridge of his nose, feeling the fatigue crashing down on him as his head throbbed painfully. But he couldn’t and probably wouldn’t fall asleep anytime soon. Not with the work he had to finish for Hoseok, who would be dropping by any day now. And he'd already been set back quite a bit, dealing with his thief.

He smiled as Jimin entered his room, looking up at him. “What room did you put Yoongi in?” he asked, looking at him through hooded eyes. Jimin didn’t want to tell him where he put Yoongi, because he knew what Taehyung was capable of and Yoongi was so fragile looking. He couldn’t even fight Jimin off and Jimin wasn’t even being that rough with him. He sighed, staring at Taehyung, he knew better than to defy his leader though, just like Jungkook knew what would happen now that he had defied Namjoon.

Jimin sighed once more, pointing across the hallway at the door that Yoongi was located inside. And Taehyung smiled to himself as he walked toward his door. “You’re dismissed for the night,” he stated, placing his hand on the doorknob. “Do what you will with the other captive or don’t. It doesn’t matter to me,” he stated, pushing his door open and walking across the hall. He placed his hand on the doorknob to Yoongi's room and walked into the dark room, shutting the door behind him. Jimin watched as he disappeared into the room and shut the door, looking down at the ground. He hoped that Taehyung would still be a respectable young man after he left that room because he didn’t know if he could follow a rapist’s orders.
