Minghao and the taxi driver made their way upto the receptionist area. The taxi driver moved Minghao's luggage and sighed in relief, wiping beads of sweat off his forehead, as they reached the long stretched desk.
"Hello!~ How can I help you?"
The receptionist looked young- in her twenties, perhaps. Her face held a friendly beam, her thin rimmed glasses reflecting the light shining down from the long silver chandelier above.
Minghao looked up, silently.
"I-I'm transferri-"
The receptionist smiled again and clapped her hands together.
"You must be the new student from China, right?" She interrupted, as Minghao nodded.
"Well... You're assigned the dorm number #127. You have one roommate, I suppose they might be in there...?"
Minghao smiled slightly and walked off, waving the driver goodbye and pushing his luggage along (unsuccessfully).
He walked past the doors, reading the numbers as 100, 101, all passed along. He finally made it to his door (127 cuz go stan NCT).
He sighed, embracing himself for whatever could be in there. The door creaked, and there was only silence to be heard in the dorm. Maybe his roommate was out somewhere...?
Minghao brushed his hair out of his eyes and closed the door behind him.
He looked around... The fairly messy dorm.
He sighed (again) and threw his bag onto the side of the sofa, and pushed his suitcase on its wheels towards the sofa too. Minghao looked at his phone again- it was only 2pm, Sunday... Meaning his classes in university would be starting tomorrow.
Wind blew past the window, a cold breeze filling the air. Minghao breathed in deeply and decided to roam around the Uni grounds... Maybe he could find a quiet, calm place to listen to music peacefully...
He passed by a basketball court. There were roughly 7 people playing, yelling loudly and laughing. Someone caught Minghao's eye- a purple haired boy... That boy was so stunning... the way his hands glided through the air, passing the ball swiftly... The beads of sweat dripping down his head...Minghao scoffed, shook his head and continued walking past.
He put his earphones on, checking his phone again and-
A ball slammed him right in the face. Minghao paused for a second, as everything went silent, except for the panicked whispers of the basketball players.
It was silent for a few seconds and then-
"JUNHUI?! YOU IDIOT OHMYGOSH SEONGCHEOL IS GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU FOR THIS-"
"YOU-!"
"WEN JUNHUI! CAN YOU NOT TRIP FOR ONCE YOU CLUMSY IDIOT-"
Minghao heard teammates scold the purple haired guy.
That guy quickly walked upto Minghao, picking up the ball and bowing deeply.
"I'm so so sorry! That was an accident, I'm so sorry-"
Minghao nodded slowly.
"I-its fine. Leave it." He said in a hushed tone.
The guy rolled his eyes (attractively-) and grabbed Minghao's wrist, stopping him from going.
Minghao raised his eyebrows.
"I suggest you let go of me." He muttered.
The guy let out a deep breath.
"You're not bruised so it's fine." The guy let go of Minghao and walked away.
Minghao sighed.
He tutted and touched his jaw gently in slight pain.
"What a brilliant start...."
